He also installed an IKEA countertop supporting a kitchen sink. This really helped since IKEA installs whole kitchens but not countertops only. Richard is also a very nice person and one can tell that he is the type of professional everyone values and respects."

"Deciding on a kitchen re-model can be a challenge but if you go to the proper professionals, it can be an extremely rewarding experience. We added cabinets to our kitchen from Lowe's but when it came to our countertops, we just couldn't find what we wanted. We had a very short timeframe to get things done so we were beginning to panic when I went to Angie's List, and chose a highly rated review. After dealing with Dennis at Stone World, I know why they are highly regarded. I can't say enough good things about the help they provided and guided us in choosing a countertop. They were right on time with their installation date and the job is absolutely perfect. We are extremely pleased."

"We have black granite countertops that we could tell were not well-maintained by the previous owners of our home; they were dullish, showed some waterspots, and seemed to have lost their luster. Supermarket granite sprays would keep them shiny for a minute, until the spray dried, and then they'd just be blah once again. (I'd compare it to a cell phone screen that just always appears to have fingerprint smudges.) We hoped that getting them cleaned & sealed would restore them to a high-gloss finish, but unfortunately, there was no noticeable difference after the treatment. On the plus side, at least I have some peace of mind now, knowing that they've been thoroughly cleaned, since it's not easy to see spills & stains on a black surface. I was not at home when the service was performed, however my mother-in-law was at the house and said that he was on time and finished in the amount of time that we were told to expect. Overall, my expectations were not met, however I have no complaints at all for the professionalism of the business owner."
