"My wife and I purchased a fixer-upper home that ended up requiring more work than we initially anticipated. We ended up taking bids from numerous contractors for various projects required to be done before moving my family into the home. Initially, I hired James to demo the original tile flooring to prep for new flooring, which was scheduled to be installed by a large flooring company. I was very impressed with Jamess professionalism and apparent, sincere dedication in ensuring his work was completed right the first time. I decided to contract James to do more work to our home. Ultimately, James ended up demoing bathrooms, replacing upstairs sub floors, structural framing work, removing every interior door (down to studs) and installing new doors, and installed new bathroom vanities/showers. We have a closet in the home that had an oddly shaped door that I was unable to find at any big box store or other door supply stores. James custom made a door for the closet, which matched all of the other doors in the house! I was so impressed with James quality of work, timeliness, and work ethic, II decided to have him complete the new flooring installation. I contacted the large flooring company and cancelled my installation with them. James installed our new vinyl flooring throughout the house, which included stairs. James also installed new 5 baseboards throughout the entire house (approx 3000 square feet). I give James my highest recommendation for anyone looking for a knowledgeable contractor whose priority is to do the work right and ensure his clients are 100% satisfied. We have received countless compliments from family and friends who have visited our home. "My front door lock is over 70 years old. It has a custom design that's hard to find these days. Instead of replacing the lock, Alan, who is the proprietor of Lightning Locks, was able to fix the old lock in no time flat. He was very reasonably priced and saved me the time and money getting a new lock set. I definitely recommend him.

"I initially called to replace one sliding closet door panel and to adjust 2 closets with older tracks and doors that kept falling off. The first crew that came measured and photographed the panel to be replaced, and manipulated the other closets a bit to get them back on track.  Unfortunately, the closets needed a bit more repair to get them back to normal working condition. When I spoke with the office to confirm order of my replacement panel, I explained that the closets still needed to be adjusted. A couple of weeks later the panel had arrived and was ready to be installed. The owner came to install the panel himself, and did the adjustment I needed on the other closets. This was not a big job, nor a difficult one, and I really appreciated him coming himself to see how he could remedy my problem.  He certainly wanted to be sure I was happy with their service. Their pricing was more than fair, and I would definitely call them again if I have any need for sliding doors.

"I got a few estimates and although Uri's quote wasn't the cheapest, he was obviously going to be an easy person to deal with, very responsive, genial and professional so I went with him. He told me to allow one month for completion but he said it was unlikely to take that long. Work began almost immediately with taking the old fence out. The new fence went up pretty quickly and is night and day different from what was there before (see pictures). Once that was mostly done, work began on the landscaping of the 'lawn' out front. His guys dug it all up by hand which kind of surprised me, must be hard work! His supervisor for that project was Minor, great guy and very knowledgeable about plants etc. The drip irrigation was installed and they put in the plants I'd chosen at a local garden place. Finally they covered it all up with membrane and bark chips. The last part of the job was to do the paving and that took longer than expected, in part because he had some of his crew call in sick so several days went by with no work being done. However, his man Damon is a maestro with the pavers, he did great work at fitting this jigsaw puzzle together (it wasn't a perfectly square space) and it looks fabulous. Overall it was a very satisfactory outcome and I'm glad I chose Eco Design Pro. My only complaint was how long we had to live with a load of rubble on the driveway and the other side of the garden where there was still living grass. Uri explained that he wanted to be sure that all the trash was together before having it picked up. My preference would have been to have the huge pile of dug-out dirt from the paved area taken away immediately and for the mysterious imported trash to have never showed up at all. However, these were minor irritations and would not put me off of hiring Uri again. He's totally honest and by the book trustworthy. See pictures below of before and after."
