"They did a very good job at installing our new driveway. They were very knowledgeable in their trade and were very detail oriented. The owner, Calvin Dunn, was very meticulous and demanded that his employees did a very good job. The employees were all hard-working individuals who seemed very sincere in doing quality work and went out of their way to ensure we were happy. The foreman was very customer service oriented. They came back 3 weeks later and sealed the driveway very well. Best of all, the price was unbeatable! <br /> <br /> Great Job! I would definitely do business with them again and will refer them often!"

"I spoke with Jerry at HQ Asphalt regarding my driveway. Since I have a longer drive, I had trouble finding a business that would provide residential asphalting in town. He was very professional and was able to estimate my drive within a few business days. He was available within a week of estimate and his team was done in one day. He asphalted the whole length of my 150 foot driveway one car width with adding a double car width at the top of the drive for approximately two car lengths. The work was exactly as I expected, done well and efficiently. I was instructed to not park on it for at least 24 hours and '48 hours would be better with the heat'. It has since withstood the hot summer well with expectations of asphalt. Jerry called a few weeks later to check on work/drive and offered that he would come back in November before the winter to seal the drive. Great work."

"Warmzone has been very responsive. However, the installers made mistakes installing the system and when they went to correct it, somehow caused damage that made the system inoperable. They had to come back a year later and redo it. Now it works pretty good. Every time I've had questions Warmzone has been very responsive. i would use them again--but use their recommended installers and not my contractors who did it last time. <br /> One caveat: The system doesn't always work perfectly in very cold weather with fast accumulating snow. We have old-fashioned clay brick pavers. Next time I'll send Warmzone a sample of the pavers so that they can test for the power needed to operate the system effectively. <br /> But--they sell a great product and they're very helpful to deal with. They'll get right on the phone with you and troubleshoot, even long after the sale. <br />"

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Omaha, NE

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
