"At first, the service was good and consistent. But then I started doubting if Skip Tanner was coming every week per our agreement and monthly fee. He told me he would come first thing in the morning Thursday s between 6:45 and 7 a.m. I m in a wheelchair and I m usually still in bed around that time but one Thursday I decided I would be up waiting by the pool at 6:30 a.m. By 7:15, I texted him if he had come to service the pool. He responded, yes. When I asked what time, his response was, Are you questioning me? I pressed for a response and he answered between 6:45 and 7:00. It s at this point I called another service company who came and measured the chemical levels and showed me the dirty strainer basket all indicating that the pool had not been maintained for days and was in need of service. It s at that point I texted Skip and fired him. Then I chuckled to myself when I realized how appropriate his first name is for how he conducts his business."
