"Stacy met me at my home months before the service.  We walked around the property and she advised me on the types of trees I had, as well as what was worth keeping health-wise and aesthetically.  She did not try to over sell.  Stacy is very knowledgeable in her craft.  Her pricing is very reasonable.  It was not the highest quote or lowest quote I received.  Stacy was right in the middle.  I did not want to entrust my trees to the low ball quotes. My only regret is that I should have called Stacy for spring clean-up as well.  I know her crew would have done a better job than what I got!  And what a crew!  They were fantastic- very courteous and also knowledgeable about tree care. Don’t overlook small businesses.  Just because a company has the most reviews does not mean they are the best.  Your tree guy might end up being the perfect tree lady."

"The job went very well.  It took two days to complete.  Most of the wood was taken away; however a great deal of wood was neatly compiled in a wooded area in the back yard for firewood. <br /> I was impressed that Dan, the owner came out before the job was completed to see if I was pleased with the job before it was finished.  My neighbor saw how meticulous and precise the guys were with my job, and got a quote from Dan about a tree she had contemplated cutting down for a few years.  She was satisfied with the quote and the tree was set to be cut on the second day of my job.  Mind you, this was not an anticipation for the foursome, however two men tackled my neighbor's tree, while the other two continued working diligently on my property.  Her tree had many family memories, but also blocked a gazebo.  The end result was she was ecstatic when  the job was completed. To date, she constantly says how pleased she is with her decision to cut down the tree, along with using Riccio's. <br /> <strong>Update:</strong> <br /> There was tree damage recently due to a storm.  Dan came out today and evaluated the area, where a tree fell onto my neighbor's shed.  He was here for quite a while problem solving how his equipment would best enter and exit the property, since this was a narrower work area between the two properties.  What I appreciate about Dan is he not only cares about doing the job right, he also cares about your property while his team is on it.  You don't find that with every contractor.  I've worked with several companies listed on Angie's list and critically,but fairly evaluated each one based on the process from beginning to end.  Riccio's is the only company that has ever received all A's from me. <br />"

With each lawn service you are notified of any concerns, as well as available services and new special offers to consider. Although, I still like to mow my own lawn, mostly for exercise, I now don't have to worry about the extraneous requirements of caring for a healthy lawn. "<p>Wonderful, professional service. They would contact through email a few days prior to inform when they were coming to treat lawn. They always left a detailed summary report of the treatment done on that particular day. When I had an event planned for the weekend, I contacted them to be sure they did not come out the days prior to treat the lawn. They were very accommodating. All I have to do is mow the lawn and keep the grass watered after some treatments during the summer.</p> <p>Payment was easy. Either in full (they offer a discount) or on account. It could be done online on your personal account with the company. Your personal account retains all your payments, treatment options and details of visits. Communication through email was immediate and courteous.</p> <p>My lawn has not looked this good in four years and I have renewed for another year. "This was a huge project and MAJOR change to our property. It was extremely stressful to take down so many large trees and figure out how to transform the property with safety, budget, future maintenance etc. in mind, and we are glad we did this with Dan and the team. Dan is very easy to work with, and worked with us to make a plan to stay in budget (which required him to come out several times and review ideas/changes with us). It took 5 full days to complete this project, and involved heavy equipment on the property. The guys worked super hard, were polite and professional (we were not surprised given our first experience with them last Fall). We give a shout out to John who was a master on the heavy equipment and super careful with our driveway. Originally we were going to grass the berm that was created (for a temporaty step) but realized on day 4 that it would be better to mulch it in prep for future plantings. This change on our part required Dan to come out again on site (which he had done each day of the project to check in) and figure out on the fly how to get 30 yards of mulch to the site (all trucks were already on other jobs this day). He said "I'll figure it out" and within a few hours the mulch was here. The guys that worked the landscape portion of the job were excellent too. Clean-up was wonderful (as it was the first time), and several days after the project was done, one of the team came out to pick up some boards used to protect the driveway. He inspected the lawn, and added more topsoil/seed in a few areas. We really appreciated this check-in, and it makes us feel like they really care that things are going right for us. Stephanie is always a pleasure to work with on the back-end office communications, and it's refreshing to know she is there for quick questions that we don't want to bother Dan with. She is always very prompt with follow-up too. This is a can-do company with polite, professional, and hard-working workers from Dan on through the whole team. They know what they are doing. It is no small thing for us to say that we are comfortable with any one of the team on our property."
