"Very well. We had a number of projects that we needed done, both interior and exterior. Joe arrived on time on the day we scheduled to go over what was needed and on the days he was working at our home. He did repairs on fences including painting, replaced a deadbolt lock, did interior and exterior painting and some repair work on ceilings including repainting. He also installed exterior floodlights on existing electrical boxes, rebuilt and reinstalled a storm-damaged wood shutter and worked on several interior doors that were not working satisfactorily. Joe works steadily and efficiently getting more done each day than I would have ever thought possible. He cleaned up all areas that he worked in and removed all debris from the premises. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Joe for “handyman” jobs. He seems willing to tackle most anything but told me up front that he doesn’t do plumbing."

"Mr. Wolff came over to examine the job, examined every task, and made suggestions how to do things more efficiently and economically.  He provided the quote right then, and said he would provide us with a written proposal that evening.  His price seemed fair, and we said we looked forward to the proposal.    
The second painter arrived late.  He examined the job, and said he would provide a proposal later in the evening.
True to his word, Mr. Wolff provided a multi-page proposal that described every aspect of the job, and what we could expect from him and his team.  The second painter called, and figured out his proposal, room by room, in real time on the phone.  I wasn't impressed.  On top of that, he wanted $400 for materials.  Mr. Wolff wanted to meet me at Sherwin Williams and allow me to use his discount; that means he made no margin on the materials (which actually cost to $203).  The second painter's bid was also far higher.  We went with Mr. Wolff.
The contract provided for a two-man team, and allowed for two days to finish the job.  On Monday morning, at the appointed time, a 3-man team showed up.  All their tools and materials were laid out on our front porch, on heavy painters tarps.  The team attacked the three rooms quietly and professionally.  They covered every piece of furniture and the floor, and fixed any holes or imperfections in the walls.  Everything was primed, received two coats of paint, all the trim was done.  These gentlemen were absolutely polite and conscientious and very thorough.  
They finished in one day, not too.  I was asked to inspect the work - twice - and found only a couple of minor touch up areas.  We were more than satisfied with the work.
What struck us through this experience was the complete professionalism that was shown by Mr. Wolff and by his team.  That is a rare thing, in my experience.  Very good work, a fair price, and a truly complete job.  (They cleaned up so well we couldn't even tell they'd been there all day.)
I would never hesitate to hire them again.  They are my go-to painters from now on.
