"Great, Roger was very communicative throughout the whole process. He helped to replace and other tub and old tile with a new soaker tub and vinyl surround. Would absolutely recommend!"

"Your Renovation is worth the wait!! My wife and I wanted to renovate our Ryan Homes builders grade bathroom so it was more than just a shower, soaking tub, and toilet. Tim had previously completed a kitchen renovation for my mother and father in law so we immediately knew we wanted him to work on our next project. Due to his high demand and COVID Tim was booking out for months, but we found if you want quality work and attention to detail you have to have a little patience. Once the work began Tim and his team were meticulous about the work area, putting up multiple layers of plastic to contain the dust and debris and then ensuring everything was vacuumed and wiped down at the end of the day. Communication was very open with him and he would discuss the day prior what his team would be working on, this included what time they would be onsite and what they may need for us to have prepared (material and color choices, etc.). Their typical day started at 8am and they worked consistently throughout the day, not ending until everything they had anticipated completing was done. This may mean 5:30pm or 7pm ensuring they stayed on the timeline they provided us, he was even opened to working on random Saturdays (within our schedule of course) to ensure there were no delays to our overall schedule. Every other day or so my wife and I would have a question about material finishing color selection etc. Tim would always listen and discuss collaboratively with us, without making us feel like we had no clue what we were talking about. Warping up the work Tim has always picked up the phone to answer any questions or address any concerns with vendors. The best example our vanity was ordered on Wayfair and came in damaged. Even after the job was done Tim came back to change out the door. It wasn't a huge job by any means but he wanted to make sure that it was done perfect. The amount of passion Tim has for his work is unmatched by any other contractor. Every inch of our renovation alludes a perfection that you will not find anywhere else and we look forward to using him and his team for future projects."

"I signed the contract 10/23/19 with an expected pick up date by the end of the month. Heard on 10/30 that the transport had broken down and needed repairs. Talked to contact on 10/31 and reviewed alternative arrangements. Second transport option bailed out due to an emergency. Third option discussed. 11/05. I followed up and was told a driver was on the way. Pickup occurred 11/7 and delivery was 11/12. I paid extra for door to door service, but the transport could not navigate the residential streets, so pickup was in a mall parking lot. For the money paid, things could have gone more smoothly. Communication was okay, but given the starts and stops more wold have been better."

"Replaced a Jacuzzi tub, redid the shower and Floor along with faucets and lights. The work was done in a timely fashion and it is perfection plus. Chris even came back and replaced our toilet which wasn't working properly. We purchased the toilet on our own and he still came back to replace it. Can't recommend him enough!!"

"Kaz isn't cheap, but they are reliable and professional, they do high-quality work, and they stand behind it. If they do charge more, you are getting something of value with the added cost. We looked at a lot of contractors before settling on Kaz. We almost went with another, who was encouraging us to do work that in retrospect really was a bad idea (moving an exterior wall to make the kitchen bigger). The Kaz designer said that would not be prudent, describing how much extra work it would involve; she showed us how the kitchen space we have is plenty, with the right design. Instead she helped us with really useful remodeling ideas, such taking a bit of garage space to make a mud room (that has worked out extremely well). She displayed great competence in her arguments and her understanding of the mechanics behind all the options, and in fact our meeting with her is what sold us on the company. We didn't interact with her much after that, but fortunately everyone else we dealt with met the same standard that she had set. The designer we met with in their store led us through all the choices of fixtures, tile, etc., and we’re happy with the selections we made with her help. Once the work started, the project took about 12 weeks in all, and extended over both Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. There was a base crew of two, with others helping on and off with special tasks such as drywall, electrical, plumbing, tile. Everyone was courteous and professional. The work continued pretty much without interruption (other than a bit off for the holidays) until it was completed. They accommodated big and small changes as the project proceeded (e.g., changing placement of shower head). If the changes meant more work, they would charge for it, but these costs were clearly laid out in writing up front; there were no surprise charges at any point. They continued to give advice that seemed impartial, sometimes recommending against ideas that would have led to additional charges. There were a few glitches along the way, which I think are to be expected for a project of this scope. I have no complaints about how they were handled. Afterward, some grout in the shower-floor tile kept coming out. A Kaz guy returned several times to fix it, trying more aggressive steps each time. In all, it took several weeks with various attempted fixes to finally get it good. Through all this, they responded promptly each time I reported the problem, and they never charged me for any of it. The point here is that they stood behind their work. As part of this job, I also had them replace two skylights that had leaked every winter since they were replaced when I had a roofing job done a few years before, by another company. That company was utterly unable to make them stop leaking, and eventually flat out said that skylights just do that and I shouldn’t expect otherwise. The new skylights installed by Kaz have never leaked since they did the replacement. Several years have passed since all this work was done, and it's holding up extremely well (including that shower tile). We love the design and the decisions we made, particularly going with Kaz for this project."

"During a conversion from a 2-family to a single-family home, the gas pipe to the dryer in the basement was overlooked and not connected to the gas lines associated with the remaining gas meter. Z&R connected the dryer to the gas line. They also removed a newer kitchen faucet from the 2nd floor kitchen sink and installed it onto the first floor kitchen sink. Additionally, the replaced the water shut-offs on the 2nd floor sink so that I could demo that sink and counter area entirely. They had the work done within a few hours. All of this was done 9 months ago, and I haven't had a single issue since then."

"The install was fine other than the missed tile which they fixed the very next day. <br /> Getting the tile at the store was a whole other issue. They are way to busy or understaffed to carefully help any one costumer. One sales associate was finally helpful on our second visit. The other is very knowledgeable and efficient but not exactly the friendly type. <br /> Basically you need to know what you are looking for on your own. <br />"

"<ul> <li>Walked me through step by step of what was going to happen.</li> <li>Had an appointment to pick out everything for the bathroom.  While this sounds like fun, it is very stressful and the team that I was working with could tell I was getting stressed and changed the way I was picking out each item.  Then it all came together and I left very happy.</li> <li>Started a week earlier than they gave me.</li> <li>Had a lock box on the house, never saw the crew, but they left everyday with a very clean area.</li> <li>It almost was like Christmas when I came home from work to see what was done each day.</li> <li>Called me when they found an issue, (I knew they would find something) walked me through it and told me what they were going to do to fix it.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Office called me to let me know when they would be back.</li> <li>Little did I know, my neighbor was keeping an eye on what was going on and told me after the end of the project that they were very professional while they were at the house.</li> <li>They told me the job would take 2 1/2 to 3 weeks and they were right on.</li> </ul> They tore out my flooring, ceiling, walls.  New plumbing was installed, new electrical work was done. <br /> Everything new was put in.  I didn't originally have a medicine cabinet, and they put one in.  I wanted a corner shower, which the plumbing would have to go on an outside wall, so additional insulation and changes needed to be made to protect the plumbing from the cold. They suggested to put in a smaller vanity to give me more room in a very small bathroom, and it looks fantastic.  <br /> The bathroom is more than I thought it would be.  Absolutely love it.  I show it off any chance I get. <br /> This is the second major project I've had Ivy Lea do and again, they made the job stress-less. <br />"
