"Through Angies list I was contacted by Knapps with a quote that was far lower than the one I got from the major appliance store which advertises all over TV. The owner who still works as one of the techs came out and efficiently fixed the problem in a little more than an hour. We are totally satisfied with his work and efficiency and highly recommend this company."

"The technician came the day after calling in the need for repair. He diagnosed the problem of needing the ignition replaced. He replaced the ignition and then tested the oven to make sure it worked. I was very happy with their quick response and being able to fix my oven. The technician was very courteous. Thank you for fixing my oven. I would definitely use them again."

"This was not a good overall experience. It was in the middle of a very bad snowstorm, and my refrigerator stopped cooling. When I called AAA Appliance, I was told someone could come to repair my refrigerator which was great. I was happy he could come out in the storm, and told him so when he arrived. He diagnosed the problem as being a bad computer board and said the repair would be $518.00. When I asked how much the actual part was, he said $315.00. I was surprised at the price, as my sister had just had the same thing replaced a week before and the total cost of repairs was $298.00. I expected to pay more because it was a snowstorm/Saturday in terms of service call or labor, but the part was almost 3 times what I expected. I was basically stuck without being able to call around to find out it this was fair, and asked if he had a particularly high markup on his parts, which he said and quot;noand quot; to. He fixed the refrigerator, I thanked him for coming out in the storm. After the fact, I found out that I would possibly still be under extended warranty, so that Monday, called around to get what others charged for this part, calling 3 different repair places, including some that were usually in the higher range and got quotes of $135.00--$179.00. I was shocked that it would be so much less than I was charged, so called AAA Appliance and asked that the owner call me. When he called and I asked him why the part was so high, he proceeded to yell at me, told me that he could charge whatever he wanted, that it was his business and that I had been rude to him. When I asked him how I had been rude, he said he didn't have to explain. I then asked that he send me another copy of the of the bill with the part number on it, so that I could at least send it in to my extended warranty company to see if I could be reimbursed. It took 2 weeks, 2 phone calls and one letter to receive that, but it didn't have the part number on the copy. Did he fix the refrigerator? Yes. Did he come out in the middle of a snowstorm? Yes. Was I satisfied with the overall service, attitude and price...absolutely not. No one likes feeling ripped off. He was paid well for his service and labor ($203.00 for one hour), but the charge for the part was ludicrously high and I felt he acted in a totally unprofessional manner.

"It’s true that the kitchen is the heart of the home, and we honestly don’t want to leave ours now that our new cabinetry is in. Unless it’s to admire the cabinets in the master bath! Peter and his team at Pacific Northwest Cabinetry helped us transform our house into the warm, welcoming home we imagined. They adapted the abstract vision we had in our heads into a space we loved the minute we saw it. We are so excited to welcome friends and family into a home that feels both beautiful and perfectly kick-off-your-shoes comfortable! It is better than we had even imagined. The end result really isn’t even the best part. The process itself was actually a lot of fun, thanks to the team of folks that make Pacific Northwest Cabinetry tick. From start to finish we were welcomed warmly, treated well, and listened to. Peter and his team went the extra step to make recommendations regarding countertop and appliance vendors and they were spot on. All questions were answered and all scenarios considered (and believe me, there were a lot of them!). Every single person we worked with, from design to installation, was truly professional and took considerable pride in their particular role. It was a real pleasure to work with these folks, and even though we won’t miss the construction dust, we will miss the people who created it. This company has a heart and it shows. We really feel that this experience is how things should always work in the world. People being honest with each other, taking ownership and pride, looking you in the eye. They sound like small things, but they are huge and Pacific Northwest Cabinetry delivers. Not to mention, those cabinets. . ."

"Our CPVC house piping had a lot of water hammer. After turning on the washing machine, I walked out for a moment, and then when I came back in water was dripping from the ceiling exhaust fan onto the washing machine. We have a two story house and they ran the hot water plumbing from the water heater in the garage through the laundry room ceiling. I removed the exhaust fan and could see water dripping from a tee way back beyond reach. The water hammer from the washer likely caused the fitting to start leaking. I turned the house water supply off and sent a message to Simpson plumbing through Angie's list. A lady from Simpson plumbing contacted me right away the next morning. She was courteous, but was having a hard time understanding what the problem was. Maybe I was giving too much information or something, but when the plumbers arrived later that afternoon they didn't understand what was going on. I ran through what happened again and showed them the wet spot on the ceiling. They had to cut an opening in the ceiling and we turned the water on and confirmed the leak. We moved my washing machine out of their way and they cut out the CPVC tee and replaced it with PEX. The piping was brittle so it took him a couple of attempts to get a straight cut which is why I called them to mess with it. After installing the PEX tee, we were leak free and at my request they provided a reference for the drywall repair. He also advised getting some water hammer arrestors installed on the supply lines to the washing machine to stop the water hammer, which I have since done."
