The other companies only had warranties on a new roof. Encore Roofs replaced the ridge cap, put in a ridge vent, put in transition flashing on the older part, replaced the transition flashing on the newer part, fixed the roof rake, re-screwed the older part of the roof, and removed the old roof debris. Brian's innovative design eliminated the foam (that dry rots with age) under the transition flashing and the ridge cap. Brian also gave me the option to keep the left over new flashing and ridge cap. The completed work looks great."

Then when they started on the chimney they found they would need to remove some of the roof to access everything which would be some additional cost. I agreed to this and they started the work but then there were delays and communication issues for over 2 months. "The provider requested OK from Choice Warranty and he was denied. It rained last night and rain came into my home. It could have been avoided if Choice had just approved what I requested. Now, the damage will be greater than necessary. I blame Choice home warranty for my home damage. Now it will cost mote than a simple tarp could have prevented until I could get money to repair roof.
