The finished product turned out much better (appearance and quality of construction) than we could have imagined. Jim and Christi Funk, the proprietors, were very easy and friendly to work with. Jim was very informative in helping select the material and describing the process. He was great at describing the qualities of TREX materials and the type of railing that would be best. His crew, with Josh as the lead, was very thorough and conscientious in doing the work. They definitely wanted to do the job the right way. Bottom line, we have a very beautiful deck at a very reasonable price. People comment on how well it fits our house. For area of improvements’: project start date could be better planned and material delivery could be better coordinated. Outside of this, we are very happy with work done on our deck."

"We were billed $65 for the trip, and then billed $125 for the hour it took the electrician to drive here! He worked very slowly. Took four hours to install a dedicated outlet for our microwave and three new ground-fault interrupters. He worked on existing outlets while those outlets were live! And he refused to use the Wallabot to help locate the wire in the wall, telling us it would only detect live wires -- we knew better but there was no telling him."

"I call Standafer Electric after finding them on Angie's List. A storm had caused a branch to fall on my power lines which pulled the house knob out of the house. I called him and he understandably couldn't come out the same day (Friday) but told me how much it should probably cost and not to pay more than that. I called a few other electricians and the only one that was available estimated it would be about double what Standafer quoted. So I called Standafer back and he was able to come out Monday to do the repair. Super quick, excellent service. I would hire him again and would recommend!"
