"We didn't receive the sign off from the city inspector. called Lincoln sewer, a couple of days later paperwork was left in the doorway. A simple receipt signed with the word "passed". The inspectors card was with it. I called him and asked how did the line look out to the street? He said he didn't know cause there was no camera to view the line. I asked him what did he pass then? he said the installation of the cleanout. I called Lincoln sewer, they came out again, re rodded, ran the camera down the line. It was clean from the catch basin to the parkway, but at the curb and beyond there was water in the line and you couldn't see anything. Lincoln sewer seemed to find that odd. they ran 50 ft of rod and camera into the street and the camera, and kept on searching in the street for where the rod or camera had made it do. but couldn't find it. They stated "your drain is fine" those pipes in the street could make a drop off. Me being overtly trusting, I helped load their heavy equipment into the truck and off they went. ........I've been calling the ward office to have the tree causing the problem to be removed, and they told us we should sign up for the city's private drain program, where the city checks the drains and fixes the drain if the problem is in the parkway to the street. I called the city and they said I had to hire a licensed plumber to rod and camera the line with an inspector to sign off on! I told him what took place, and he said, that's not right, call lincoln sewer back and have them camera the line with an inspector present to see it to the street. the permit is good for a year. Infuriated, I called lincoln sewer, only to rudly @#$#@ curse at the nice lady who answers the phone for them. My bigley Bad. Instantly I got a call back ******** me out for my language! I agreed, it wasn't her fault, it was his. We're scheduled for a 3rd time, with a camera and an inspector. I called the nice lady back and apologized. The third and visit is next week. The season pro from Lincoln sewer was upset when he found out no cam was present for the inspector. He felt bad by not being their, I should have been there, but had to leave, do to mom in laws things. But that doesn't change anything. I still coughed up 2800 bucks. Have had no water back up issues since, nobody likes paying for a service that was sold to me, then not getting it. A city inspector didn't look at a camera and inspect my drain from beginning to the street. There could still be a problem, and there shouldn't be. A lot of Ugliness has happened and is still happening. None of this would have occurred if the camera was there for the inspector to view as contracted on the the first visit. I'm upset, the nice ladies upset, the Lincoln sewer is upset. But I still don't have proof from the city that things things are good as promised or paid for."

"We removed the wood paneling in the basement shortly after moving in.  That's when we noticed 13 cracks in the foundation.  None of them structural issues.  They came in and repaired all of them in one day.  A couple of them were difficult to get to due to stairs and piping, but they did a great job on all of them.

"Mitch and his team were excellent. Not only did he show up on time to all appointments, but each of the areas he worked on looks incredible. On top of that base work, Mitch also went above and beyond what I would have expected a concrete company to do (shown below). If you're considering Wet Works, I strongly encourage you to use them. He's the kind of guy who would do anything to make sure you're satisfied, even if it's more work. -We wanted the electrical conduit under our patio done a certain way, and he worked to make it happen -He came out to our house a day before the job started to make sure everything was in a good place. We told him that we wanted the old fence removed at some point, and he hopped in the bobcat and removed the whole thing. Then we mentioned that the tree stump was annoying next to the driveway, and he removed that. -He was ready to redo some of the concrete work he had already laid after we noticed some water pooling. He suggested an alternative solution that worked even better to solve the issue. -He realized that the bobcat wouldn't fit through our lower garage, so he rented a jackhammer to break up the old concrete in the garage instead. -He was extremely responsive through calls/texts throughout the job on issues uncovered or scheduling concerns with weather."

"When we bought this house we were planning to renovate the basement.  The previous owner had represented that it had never taken on water.  The first weekend we were here, however, a torrential rainstorm caused the basement to flood.  We realized we needed to waterproof it before we could do anything else, and decided that drain tiling was the safest way to go.
Greg was phenomenally responsive from the start.  He was very clear about what needed to be done and how they would do it.  He also described some optional work but was explicit that it was optional and if it didn't fit within our budget that was that, and he wasn't going to push it the slightest bit.  His quote blew away the bigger, well-known firm and was less than or on a par with some others.  He also agreed to demo the walls for a slight extra charge, which otherwise would have been a huge convenience for us.  Between then and the start of work I emailed him repeatedly with various questions and he responded almost instantly.  When his workers took down the paneling we got the unpleasant news that we had huge cracks in the walls that would need to be tuckpointed and in one area a big chunk of foundation was jutting from the wall.  That section of the foundation would need to be replaced and a support beam installed.  We were more or less at Greg's mercy at this point -- we weren't going to halt work and bring in a series of guys to quote the tuckpointing & repair -- but Greg gave us an estimate of $2,600-$3,000.  We can't know for sure, but suspect that this price was more than fair, and Greg stuck to it even though we think the work turned out to be more than they expected.
The project manager, Jim, was fantastic to work with throughout, very communicative and accomodating, and the crew of five guys or so was extremely friendly and professional.  All in all, A Perfect Crawlspace was a pleasure to work with and we could not be happier with the results.
