"Due to shoddy electrical work in our home since we've been here, a set of 3-way to 4-way to 3-way wall switches were intended to power the light in our front entry hallway. I am not an electrician or electrical engineer, but I understand the concept of this switch arrangement and have successfully replaced a similar switch arrangement elsewhere in our home without any difficulty. We knew that our issue required an expert electrician to diagnose and resolve it. On this date, Steve from Palmer Electric paid a visit to our home to try to solve the problem. After two hours of head scratching and trying different approaches, Steve finally figured out the problem and fixed our issue. We are extremely grateful for Steve's expertise and patience while in our home. I doubt that an inexperienced electrician could have figured this out. We highly recommend Steve and Palmer Electric for home electrical diagnosing and repair."

"explained to him what I wanted done and he understood exactly what I wanted done. Installed the grab bars in the shower exactly where I wanted them and then cleaned up the debris in the shower. All done professionally and we are extremely happy with the results."

"I put in my claim with choice home warranty and CHW setup an appointment for/with Demond electric company The technician arrived I paid the required service fee charge (the service fee varies per state -i have used CHW in 3 different states and the service fee was affordable for the 3 different states) The Demond Electric technician Paul was very very professional, polite, knowledgeable and did a great job."

"ABSOLUTLY FANTASTIC! I could not be more pleased with the work and the communication throughout the project from 1800 miles away no less! This was my Mom's home, as her estate executor, I had to fine someone to update A LOT of different things during COVID-19, which meant communication had to be via phone, pictures and video. I am so thankful that Anthony is great at his profession as well as communicating in layman's terms what is needed. He truly was a blessings since he pretty much had to go on pictures of the style we wanted. He stayed within budget by thinking outside the box and even bargined shopped for us since I couldn't be there in person! You can bet I will absolutely recommend him to whoever buys the family farm house for the rest of the improvements that need to be done!"

"Immediate response to our inquiry. Reasonably priced and extremely willing to accommodate our needs -willing to make two trips to the residence as we wanted the old water heater pulled one day so that we could access and paint the small utility room prior to installing the new water heater the next morning"

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Oswego, NY

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
