"Horrible Experience ? Do Not Use This Company I hired this company for roof repairs, and it turned out to be an absolute nightmare. I paid over $8,000 for work that was never fully completed, and I?ve been dealing with unprofessional behavior every step of the way. The day after they said the roof was going to be done, I sent them a text, asking if the roof was fully finished. Instead of giving a straightforward answer, I received a response saying, ?It?s only 2:00????? ? a completely dismissive reply with no real update on the work. From that point on, I had to harass them repeatedly via calls and emails just to get pictures of the roof and gutter guards. The house is two stories, so I couldn?t see most of the roof from the ground, and I certainly couldn?t see the gutter guards. I needed them to show proof of completion, but they refused to send me any proper documentation or images. But they certainly didn?t stop sending me invoices and badgering me for payment!"

"Five out of five stars for the team at Avalon Building Concepts! A stranger’s knock on the door saved my family $10,000. What a true blessing it was to have Gus show up at our door. When we purchased out house, we knew the roof would have to be replaced because it was about 15 years old and the type of shingle installed had quality defects which caused it to prematurely wear. After the hailstorm hit the city, I didn’t really think anything of it until Gus came knocking on the door. Gus was very professional and walked me through every step of the process and even assisted in the insurance claim call. He went above and beyond to ensure the process went smoothly, was on budget, and completed in a reasonable manor. He was able to meet with me outside of his normal working hours to pick out the replacement shingles and taught me so much about the claim process and how to look for hail damage on a shingle. He gave me inside tips on how different insurance companies fight claims and Gus ensured me that he would jump through ever hoop he had too in order to get a new roof on the house. Luckily, my insurance provider accepted the claim on the first submission. When the team showed up to rip and replace, I was already at work and by the time I got home they were nearly finished and cleaning up. Throughout the process I was able to work with both Gus and josh, it appears that both of these employees are ready to push Avalon to the next level and incorporate new advanced technologies that make both of their jobs easier and safer. I could tell Josh really have a passion for the work that he does and the company that he works for. "A few years ago we had Smart Roofing put on a new roof and was very impressed with the quality and professionalism done. Richard was great to do business with so we contacted him again when we wanted siding done. Again, we were impressed with the quality of the product, installation and communication. Every step Richard communicated in a promptly manner. The team he assembled were very professional and mindful of our vegetation in our yard and when the job was completed they did a thorough job of picking up the siding debris. The team communicated through out the entire process and their timeframe of completion. I was very glad they inquire if we wanted our old light fixtures/outlet covers to go back or if we had new ones which I went out an bought new ones immediately. "Stay away from this company. David Chenoweth sold me on one thing and the company that uses his name delivered something completely different. Poor workmanship, delays, unwillingness to fix roofing problems, incorrect installation, etc., etc., etc. I have pictures, professional inspection report, and massive list of problems. They eventually quit responding to my requests. Never again."
