The heritage of Rausch Coleman Homes begins on May 6, 1936 when our Founder, Ernest R. “Buddy” Coleman was born in Barling, Arkansas. In 1955, at the age of 19, Buddy Coleman built his first home that sold for less than $4,000. The son of a carpenter, Buddy Coleman supported his family by building homes, while also attending Ouachita Baptist University. Given a choice of what type of builder he wanted the company to be, Mr. Coleman chose to provide housing people could afford. In his own words, “I wanted to insure that everyone could realize the American Dream of Home Ownership, not just the fortunate ones.” John R. Rausch, Buddy Coleman’s grandson, has been working side by side with his Grandfather since he was 8 years old. Since his childhood, Mr. Rausch has been learning the company’s philosophies and implementing its visions. In the spirit of competition, he built his first home at the age of 18 (one year younger than Buddy Coleman). As he grew older he became progressively more involved in the company’s operations and expansions. John R. Rausch, a graduate of Southern Methodist University, spent his university years studying Business and Real Estate Finance. Already established in the Fort Smith, Arkansas market, Rausch Coleman Homes expanded its operations into Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1999. We are good with Interior and exterior painting as well as staining and polyurethane application artistically applied with a vision inspired by customers. Familiar with installing yard art and doing it by listening to my customer and communicating back what I heard and confirming we are in agreement with the future work. My wife and I have been in the business since 2015 but have been shaped j to individuals with huge value do to our ability to develope relationships with all of our customers by listening, doing what we say, owning our projects soup to nuts, and delivering pride through the help of our almighty! We can handle small, medium and large jobs but primarily look to not take on more than we can handle but if the job calls for it we are a general contractor and have help for heavy lifting available. I am a disabled veteran owned Christian business looking for fair market value to provide stellar results with real value in order to grow throughout our community.
