Previous work with this company could not have been better.  Outstanding work.  For this reason we called Miller again when our backyard needed new landscaping.  The personnel we worked with were responsive and did an excellent job with the landscape design.  Overall the work was completed as agreed to but we needed to have crew return for some rework to get to that point.

"Nick was very professional and worked hard to find an AC unit for my home. He found one and it was installed the next day! From the estimate through the installation, I was very impressed with Nick. I trusted everything he said and I'm very, very happy with the results. I was especially.happy that he did not have to break through the ceiling in my basement( pipes are covered with drywall not a drop ceiling) I will be calling him.from.now on and plan to schedule a cleaning and tune up with this company in the fall. Highly recommend Midwest Pros."

"Pete did a good job with the lawnmowing, but he couldn't get around to the landscape work I asked him to do in the Spring.  He finally did a partial job in the July and was not able to complete the rest of the work that we had agreed upon - istallation of a french drain and extra sod work.  Good man, but needs to add staff or should not over-commit himself.

FAQs for trees & shrubs treat, protect and maintain projects in Oxford, MI

A tree doctor or tree surgeon is another term for an arborist. The term is more common in places like the United Kingdom. They are professionals trained to plant, care for, maintain, diagnose, and remove trees of all kinds. Tree doctors have specialized knowledge to ensure the health and safety of trees.

Arborists are tree care specialists who plan, maintain, and enhance the health of trees with expert precision. They prune, diagnose diseases, treat pest infestations, remove hazardous limbs, and manage debris cleanup while developing comprehensive landscaping plans. They also handle tree planting and work with landscape professionals to ensure long-term tree vitality and safety.

Consulting arborists are tree experts who can advise homeowners and business owners on the right trees to plant, how to care for existing trees, and what to do about trees that appear to be sick or pose a safety threat. A consulting arborist may work with local landscape architects, investment property owners, city governments, developers, and other arborists.

An arborist may be able to save a dying tree. If you notice that your tree suddenly appears to be sick or is exhibiting unusual behavior, contact an arborist immediately. They will thoroughly inspect the tree to determine what might be wrong with it—and will let you know if it’s possible to save the tree and how to do it.

Verifying an arborist’s credentials is crucial for reliable tree care. Arborists must be licensed by their state and hold certifications from reputable organizations such as the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). Request proof of licensing and certification, and review local recommendations to ensure you are hiring a professional who meets high industry standards and adheres to strict safety protocols.
