Mike stayed out in the rain to measure and calculate the amount of mulch and rocks needed to meet our needs. He provided a written estimate prior to leaving. Mike was clear about the time frame when he would be able to begin the work and contacted us within the estimated window to establish a start date. Mike and his crew showed up when scheduled and worked over portions of two days to transform the select sections of our landscaping into something we are proud of. Neighbors have stopped by to comment on how nice the project turned out! The personalized service provided by Mike and Colonial Landscaping was outstanding. "When they did the edges, I didn’t want them to put the bricks there. I wanted them to put a trench to separate where the grass started and the flower bed. I asked them to do it because I wanted it to look more professional and not like something crazy I did that wasn’t straight. It looks very crooked like something I would have done. The front they did well. I told him and he came back out and let him off the hook. He acknowledgeable that he could have done a better job. They didn’t’ put the extensions on the down spout far enough. So now I need to re-dig and make them lower or add more top soil above. They didn’t do a professional job as I would have liked. They were supposed to spray and a couple of days later I noticed that none of the vegetation was dying. I called back and they acknowledge it and came back out. They were responsive.    I tried to use them again but they were not responsive."
