"I previously had hired Mike for a smaller job at an investment property in January 2019. I like him so much, I asked him to do the entire hardscape/landscape for my newly remodeled home. The hitch: I was still working with a GC for the interior of the home, and had essentiallly "fired" the GC for the yard, so I was worried there might be hard feelings. Mike was confident he could do the work and bridge the gap between his crew and our house contractors - and he did! The two crews had to work together a number of times, sharing information about drainage plans, moving electrical under the house and out to the exterior of the patio, etc. From my perspective, it was seamless. Mike is also great about offering input on design - I was overwhelmed with taking on another design project in light of the work I was doing on the interior, and Mike handled it well - he offered suggestions, was willing to take my input and change his mind, and was flexible when I told him I wanted to "go cheap" in a portion of the yard because we were on a strict budget. We ended up with a beautiful yard and patio! Mike also thought up some budget-friendly choices for me when I asked for pavers on the patio - we did a beautiful stamped concrete that I am very pleased with. He came when he said he would, his crew was efficient, clean and friendly, and Mike himself was on-site much of the time. When I had concerns during the project, he would come right over to discuss them and make changes (if necessary), and after the project was done (and we had filled our coffers again), he added more landscaping and did the lighting for me. He will always be my go-to hardscape and landscaper!"

"The owner, Jamie Donovan, was very easy to work with and accomodating to all our needs and requests. His crew did an excellent job and they were quick. They were also easy to work with and made sure to get my input and/or approval when decisions had to be made during construction. The job site was always left neat and clean at the end of the day. We had a 6 foot block wall built between the back yard and the alley with a 2 foot lattice on top. There are many houses on our alley that have block walls with lattice - Mster Masonry lattice construction is superior to all of the them. We also are having a pedestrian gate and an electric driveway gate installed. This necessitated Master Masonry coordinating with the gate company. Both companies worked with each other superbly. I am very pleased to have used Master Masonry and I would not hesitate a moment to use them again in the future."
