For those of us with hectic schedules where text, messaging, or email works better than a phone call, this is a must-have service. After the estimate phase, timely communication continued via email to schedule the actual work, and the technician called me 30 minutes before arriving. The on-site estimate turned out to be crucial as there were specifics about the existing main pump and the piping that were not immediately apparent with the companies preferring to do virtual estimates using photos I sent. "The old well above-ground water pump stopped working and they responded promptly with a submersed replacement. The old piping was pulled from the well and replaced with new piping and power cable. The old water filter holder was difficult to use and not secured well; they replaced it, relocated it to free up basement space and fastened it securely to the wall. The pressure tank was also moved to a better location to free up space. The plumbing and electrical were re-routed. The pressure switch and pressure gauge were replaced. They were very cooperative and accommodating to my suggestions and wishes. The cost was reasonable."

"Wes showed up on time the same morning of my original call to Crown. He diagnosed my sump pump problem within ten minutes and I'm embarrassed to say it was a tripped GFCI circuit that my garage and backyard outlet shares. I should have known the first step of troubleshooting...check power source. After I reset GFCI in garage Wes verified the pump was working by observing several cycles. Sump pump replacement has been on my to do list for 15 year life and that's this year, so I'll be replacing both interior and exterior pumps in a couple of months. I'm going with a battery backup unit for the exterior sump. The prices for replacements are a skosh over the top end of my budget, but I'm impressed with the company, so I'll pay for the peace of mind."
