"I hired this plumbing contractor to insulate the plumbing he had re-piped earlier due to a flood that occurred right after I bought my house. Steven Rodberg rerouted the plumbing through the attic, which led to a persistent issue. I asked him to return and insulate the cold water line from the main supply throughout the attic to all faucets. Despite this, the water from my kitchen faucet still runs at 96 degrees. After paying him $6,675 for these repairs, I found out he never insulated the kitchen's water supply, and the temperature remains unchanged. He has since become unresponsive to my calls, texts, and emails, ignoring numerous messages and emails I sent to address this issue."

"I've been a customer for 4 years now. Since moving to Boca 8 years ago, this is my third AC company. The first two, I had constant issues with. And then I found Island Air 4 years ago. Since then, I wouldnt change a thing. Island Air has been awesome. They are extremely professional, responsive, always on-time, etc. My first experience with them was buying a brand new unit. Since then, it has been regular servicing every 6 months. Today is the first time I have had a "warranty" issue. Island Air replaced the capacitor no problem, for no charge since Im still under warranty. They did it with a smile on their face and didnt give me a hassle at all. Thank you to the Island Air team and Orlando (HVAC tech) who came out today!"

"Back in August of 2025 J&R was contracted by my HOA to help in our daughter's closet after we found signs of old water damage from before the roof remodel. They did such a great job not only finding and eliminating mold we didn't know was there but on the rebuild (which they were seperately contracted again by the HOA) they not only replaced everything the way it was they went the extra step to paint the wall the color we were planning to do before we found the water damage. A few months later I came home to find standing water around my water heater. Given my first experience I called J&R right away. They guided me the process, explaining I should replace the water heater first and once in they'd come out for the remediation. Plumber came next day, J&R the following day after that.
