"I contacted Jerry originally to replace a broken window in my vacation home but did not use him since I ended up replacing all the windows in the house. I then removed paneling from a wall inside the house and needed it to be drywalled and painted. Jerry made useful suggestions and also insulated the wall and matched the textured paint that he put on the wall to the other walls in the room. He did a great job. In addition, Jerry kept in constant contact with me since I was doing the renovation project remotely and there were no surprises with the work.I would recommend Jerry to any of my neighbors and friends.

"it went very well. from the minute jerry and his helper arrived and started to carefully protect and remove furniture from construction dust to the time they moved it all back, they acted in a professional manner. jerry had to replace a lot of drywall. it was done seamlessly. the same with my front door. it was painted and repaired so that it looks brand new. "Everyone at Solar Shield was very nice and professional. We had a few concerns when the moisture barrier was installed and we still had rain in our bedroom. Frank got it corrected the next day, and finished the roof the following week. The good news: very nice looking roof with no more leaks. The bad news: we got pictures of the hurricane straps installed and had the roof inspected by our insurance company. They found that the hurricane straps installed were not up to their standards and neither was the moisture barrier. They also found multiple slats (we didn’t have decking that covered the whole roof - old house) that were split and compromised during the work, so we were unable to qualify for any insurance discounts. Overall, we have a nice looking roof - top of the line from Solar Shield Industries. Hopefully, it will last a lifetime. But unfortunately, we have some decking remediation that needs to be done and we still need hurricane straps, which will probably be clips now. Not a big enough deal for me to raise a stink. I can retro clips and repair the few decking issues from the attic & under siding. And apparently, the moisture barrier is just not what the insurance company accepts as a “moisture barrier.”"

Major repairs was done on the boards that was done in 2011, and some was not installed properly, he came back to fix the boards up he was able to re-fixed the boards properly. He was able to provide additional works for me, thoughtful and considered my needs. One concern I had with the work was that things were not plumb and squared."
