"I am truly amazed that the quality of work is so much better than I was expecting! Rene Martinez did an amazing job. I don’t know where to begin to offer compliments. The attention to detail, the detailed, hard work, and nonstop work ethic. He and his team did an amazing job and I cannot recommend them highly enough! "

"These painters are very responsive. They called me quickly and came out to measure, see the scope of the project and give me a bid within 2 days. I have a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo, a total of 4 rooms plus hallways, ceilings, doors and trim. They got me on their calendar and started the work the same week. Showed up on the start date a few minutes early and began preparing the site, working hard all day and into the evening they managed to finish in one long day! Amazing work. Highly recommended them. I will post pictures soon"

"Jorge and his crew were stellar! He stated a start date, asked if they might start a day earlier ( which was great!). While Jorge was at job site daily, Manual lead the job, making a neat job while taking care so I might inhabit the house while a full interior, trim & ceiling were transformed. They even had time to make my garage a “brighter “ place. They were careful to clean up and haul off all masking, taping & paint buckets. I would easily refer Desert Fine. "

"Did a fantastic job. Moved my furniture, took down window treatments and put back together when finished. The finished result is great. Painted my entire house (interior). Very happy."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Palo-verde, AZ

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
