"Jesse responded quickly when I had told Angie’s list that I was looking for somebody to redo my asphalt. He came around and looked at what needed to be done and immediately advised me that asphalt as old as ours would need to be completely replaced. He took time out to explain why, and what would be needed. He listened carefully to just what we needed and the additional work/expansion that was required. Within a day he had sent a very professional estimate. Meanwhile other recommended contractors had only considered resurfacing rather than redoing. Although interestingly the costs were comparable. At this stage I did a lot of research and realized that redoing was definitely the way to go for a long-term fix. Jesse convinced me that Joe’s was a very professional organization and included a guarantee. We agreed on a time and when Junior and his crew came I saw that they fully lived up to the professional description. They worked quickly and well, and it was fascinating to watch the large, sophisticated equipment come in and remove the old asphalt, and then compress, build out and lay the new asphalt. I was impressed with how many times they compressed and re-did all the different layers and effort that went into making sure that this was a solid undertaking. When they finished they did a very good cleanup job."

He asked us questions to keep us involved and ensure we were getting what we wanted, but balanced that out well with professional suggestions and expertise. He was as punctual as any contractor I've ever dealt with, which was refreshing. It seemed important to JC Landworks to FINISH the job as quickly as they could after STARTING it, which helped us feel like valued customers, even though, I imagine, our project wasn't one of his highest-end. Drainage was a huge concern of mine given our hemmed-in backyard, but JC's crew used their laser levels to survey the grade and drainage is spot on. They weren’t pushy or upsellers like some of the companies I had previously interviewed. They were knowledgeable about which types of plants to use where and why, they were punctual and completed the job in a very timely manner, they were professional and left the site clean and tidy each day, and they even did little things to go above and beyond (brought our trash cans out on trash day without being asked, refilled our dog’s water when it was low, etc.). "I interviewed a number of companies for the renovation of my driveway. It was a ribbon driveway with 2 cement tracks surrounded by dirt. Never having done a project like this I was, of course, nervous about choosing a competent company to complete this expensive project. Although I was impressed with all of the company presentations, I finally chose System Pavers who seemed to be very knowledgeable in both design and construction. They started the job when promised and were always available if I had questions. In particular, Chris, the project manager and Silvia, the design consultant, had given me their phone numbers and quickly returned any calls I made to them. The finished product was beautiful and, as a bonus, completed ahead of schedule."
