"The existing roof on the house and garage was torn off, new sheet decking installed on top of old board decking of the house, new flashing, drip edge, shingles installed on house and garage. Installed new ridge vent on house. Some of the siding that needed to be removed to install flashing was damaged as can happen but was replaced with new. It was a difficult roof with multiple dormer windows and odd angles but they did a careful job and I've received many compliments on the appearance from neighbors. Good job with clean up too. The owner is easy to reach and quick to reply to all questions I had. From day I asked for quote until day completely finished was under 5 weeks. Without hesitation I'd recommend them to others. Competitively priced compared to two other bids."

Owner Tom P came out and walked through our needs with us, and helped us make decisions where we were unsure and gave us a detailed estimate within a couple days (including some great visuals that really helped my wife, who isn't a particularly visual thinker). Once we settled on the work to be done, there were three separate crews doing work at different times. All were absolutely top-notch for professionalism and quality of work. The roofing crew put in one day that was over 18 hours long to keep things on track, and had maybe the best attitude I've ever seen for such a grueling job. We couldn't be happier with the results. "Bought 4 hours for $178 which is how long it took to finish the job. The contractor on sight was only told about the 2 hours under a single agreement and asked to be paid on-the-spot for the other 2 hrs as he likely gets paid by the job and thus his insistence on payment. Said I would get reimbursed for any overpayment but I said no as I was paid in full. The company needs to communicate better with their employees to avoid placing the customer in an uncomfortable position."

"This story starts with the estimate.  Mitch and George came to our house to give us an estimate.  They answered all of our questions and, while it is not in our nature to do this, we accepted their estimate during the visit.  We believed they were honest, sincere, knowledgeable and experienced.  We also felt they gave us a really good price. 
Two days later, I was second guessing myself.  I was worried about the hasty decision we'd made and reviewed the paperwork.  I worried that perhaps an error had been made in the specifications because the price really was a good one.  I was right at the 3-day cancellation limit and honestly, freaked out a bit.  I put a stop payment on the deposit check.  Then I called Mitch.  He called me back right away.  He assured me that I was getting what I thought I was getting.  He wrote in the missing specs on contract and emailed me a copy of the corrected contract.  He even wrote in an upgraded glass because he wanted to make sure I was happy (I didn't hold him to it.)  I felt bad about the stop payment I put on the check.  He said not to worry about it and said I didn't owe him a dime until the job was complete.  (How nice was that??)
When the windows came in, the installation went great.  It took two days.  The two men (Nick and Carl--I think I have that right) who installed the windows did an exceptional job.  They were a pleasure to have around.  They were neat and tidy.  The used the special exterior trim we'd purchased and made sure the windows were watertight and solid (they had to replace one rotted sash).  I really can't say enough about them.  They didn't just figure out how to use the trim.  They figured out the best way to use the trim.  I felt like they treated our house like their own.
After the installation, I found I couldn't lock the slide-down screens in place.  George came out to check it and couldn't get them to lock either.  He had a Pella warranty guy come out.  He showed me that it just took a little more force when the windows were brand new.  All in all, our experience with Thermal Window and Siding was exceptional in every way.  I would recommend them to others and will use them to replace the remaining windows in my house.  They are very responsive to the customer."
