There are still quite differences among them from the list. One asked me to sign the contract right on the spot. Fortunately, I did not. Later, I found they had the highest price. I chose Acorn. He owner, Mike, came did the estimate. The job was done as promised. The roof looks good."

"Used this company years ago and they came now as a result of an Angies List $49 deal for a roof assessment with pictures and minor repairs.  The review was comprehensive but I'm thinking it was what they would do for any prospective customer who requests an estimate.  Not sure there was a benefit to purchasing the Angies List deal.  I also think that the representative was overselling with a recommendation for a roof rebuild and some other services that a mason and other roofing contractors said I did not need.  The estimate they provided was just for the roof replacement.  All that said, I still think it is a good company and will probably end up choosing them.  They did systematic follow-ups to see if I had any questions, etc. until I told them I'd contact them when I was ready.

"i received a quote for a 80' fence.  The work was scheduleed to start between noon and 2 o'clock bu they had a cancellation so they came early at 10:00.  It was a difficult job since the yard was on a severe slope and they had to cart all the work up a flight of stairs and the temperature was going to be in the 80' and hot.  Despite this, they were tireless while working, and stopped for lunch and a few breaks which they really needed.  They had additional work to cut and adjust the fence since the yard was sloped but they didn't need to thhink too much what needed to be done since they had done this type of work before.  They asked me before cutting a piece of sidewalk to place a post where there needed to add one.  I really adbmired their skill in adjusting the fence to match the terrain and the obstacles.  They referred to me everytime they needed to make a decision and also gave me choices.  They were so helpful and accommodating.  They were here from noon until 6PM working much of the time and a much needed fence was installed perfectly.  The quality of the fence is outstanding and I am sure it will last a very long time.
If i will need another fence, i would not hesitate to call them again without hesitation.  I would highly recommend them.

But it ended up to be a very reasonable price for very high quality materials and work. All work was completed in one long day. Everyone was safe and professional. The yard looked spotless afterwards and the roof looks great. Another person came to inspect the next day, in case we had any problems or issues, which we did not.
