It required complete tear down & proper re-doing including all new crushed stone (there was none originally - they just poured a thin layer of asphalt over clay). Will hire them again in the Spring to seal the asphalt."

"It turned out beautifully. The demolition of my old driveway happened the same day I hired them. It sat looking like that for a while before they came to put down the new asphalt. The demo was on July 19 and the work was finished on August 2. That is probably normal however, I wish I would have had a clear path to walk between the piles of dirt and rocks. Looking back I think it would have been a good idea to put down some cardboard to walk upon. During the 2 weeks it rained a couple times and there was a lot of mud that my family walked through and made a mess of their shoes and the carpet in my cars and home. Of course that is no reflection on Blacktoppers, just an observation and a word to the wise."

"Mr. DiFatta and his team came right on time and started to work immediately. They took up the old broken sidewalk and the broken piece of driveway and hauled away the debris. We had another individual come in with a mobile stump/root grinder to take out the tree roots which caused the damage in the first place. Unfortunately, this person did NOT do a good job, but Mr. DiFatta's crew stepped up and finished the root job and hauled away the debris from that as well. They put in a base of gravel and poured the concrete after the framework was put in place. Beautiful work and thoroughly professional. They even replaced the dirt on the sides of the walkway and seeded it and covered it with straw. We are thrilled with the results. Our costs were a little more than first quoted because of the extra work caused by the poor service of the stump grinder guy, but I still think it was well worth the cost."

"Great job overall! We purchased a deal through Angie's List for asphalt driveway resealing. The original deal was for $140, which covered 1000 sq ft. All County Paving contacted me within a few hours to schedule service. They had an opening within the coming week and accommodated a time that worked with our schedule. Upon arrival, the crew inspected my driveway and noted a few cracks that needed to be repaired (we had anticipated this in advance). The cost for filling the cracks was an additional $80, which we thought was reasonable. The crew also identified a few areas on the driveway that may require attention in the future and recommended holding off on repairs. As described, the crew trimmed grass near the driveway and cleaned the surface prior to applying the sealant. The entire job was completed within a couple hours. They left the area cleaned and roped off the driveway to prevent driving/walking. Very happy over all. Great service!"

"Re-sealing and repair completed in a very timely and professional manner. The repair was made and allowed to dry for a few hours and then the Mitchell crew returned to finish the sealing. Mitchell paving did an excellent job re-sealing my driveway and they were moderately priced.. I've had this type of job done many times but this is the first time an asphalt contractor has put tape over the landscape ties bordering the driveway. Then unbelievably Shawn went the extra mile and came back and removed the tape. Absolutely the best asphalt contractor in town !"
