"Manny and his crew did our home's siding (removal and replacement), new gutters, overhang, front and side door trim and door, repaired our deck, built us wooden stairs and established a drainage pipe under our lawn to catch our gutter water and sump pump water, plus a few other odd jobs and we are happy with every single one of them! He gave our house a total facelift and listened to all of our concerns as well as gave advice for how to make things look better, without overcharging us. It was a fair price for work well done, the crew was courteous and hardworking, and they cleaned up after themselves. "Corey provided a thorough inspection of our existing roof and then pointed out potential problem area and areas definitely needing fixing. He, then, thoroughly explained the roofing process and the materials to be used. He made sure all of our question were answered before preparing his proposal for the roof and gutter replacement. The day of the roof install, Corey, Dan and his crew arrived before 7:30 AM. It was nonstop work from then until the old roof had been removed, the new roof installed and the area was clean up was completed by 6:30 PM. Corey and Dan were constantly checking to see if everything was satisfactory and did a complete walk around before leaving for the day. The gutters were installed a few day later, as agreed. The gutter crew was very meticulous in installing the gutters and downspouts. Corey was here for the gutter install and did another walk around when they were installed. "Gary is incredible - very detail oriented, careful, and really listens to the customer to be sure that the work is done well and within budget. The issue I called him for was a few pieces of siding on our house were bowing outward. We got two other estimates - one very low and the other using scare tactics to try to get me to redo the siding on the whole house. Gary was honest in that the existing siding was generally in good shape and did not need to be replaced, but the cheaper estimate I received would not solve the problem because, due to where the problematic piece of siding was located, the scope of that work would not fully address the issue. He was able to carefully take off the existing siding from the roof down to the troubled spot and diagnose the problem (the nails used to hold the siding in weren’t long enough so the siding was only nailed into insulation, not wood). He had to replace some wood and use some new siding after tossing some warped pieces but other than that the job went off without a hitch. He had previously done work on my gutters and roof so this is the third job I’ve hired him for and, should I need anymore exterior work done in the future, he will always be my first call."

"Materials were ordered swiftly, and the team organized their subcontractors to complete the sequential work in as little time as possible. Most importantly, Sam, Anthony and project manager Adryan were on site every day coordinating the work and reachable within a moment's notice. In a very short three and a half weeks in August, the Universal team completed the complex plan.  New Pennsylvania fieldstone masonry work at the base of the home was installed first, including a new retaining wall.  A brand new timber tech rear deck was built.  Twelve new windows were installed.  All new James Hardie siding was installed and a substantial nine by twelve foot front portico completely transformed the front of the home.  Large scale reno is inexorably daunting, but the Universal team was communicative throughout the process.
