"Luis from Solid Stucco came out and appraised the project very rapidly. He was polite, responsive, and tailored the work his crew would do to my budget. His team came out and completed the work in a short amount of time, and did a great job. I needed an existing opening in my stucco patched and repaired, and I also needed several cracks fixed. The job was done well, and I would recommend working with the people from Solid Stucco."

"Professional, trustworthy and communicative. Found more needed repairs after pressure washing and his team went above and beyond, including fabricating a railing that couldn't be purchased. Very pleased!"

"Hugo is an honest contractor for Stucco repairs. His price was reasonable and he communcated frequently during the stucco window repiairs he did. His helper Javier was also very good and you could tell he had a lot of experience. I also appreciated his safety concerns since I have a 4 story Town Home. The stucco repair business is rather corrupt between stucco leak inspectors, realtors and stucco repiar companies. I would not hesitiate to hire Hugo and his company for any stucco work you need, I think you would be quite happy with the outcome!"

"This is a father-son business JR'S Plastering & Construction (George). They did a great job fixing my front crack stucco, caulking my front windows, painting the front of the house, and replacing the patio travertine stone. They also power washed and seal the stone. They were reasonable on the pricing for the project and clean up the debris. 5 STAR."

"I recently had the roof replaced to the event hall for our daycare due to persistent leaks that were becoming a major concern. After thorough research, I entrusted the task to Gabriel and his crew. I must say, it was the best decision I made! From the onset, Gabriel was professional, transparent, and attentive to our concerns. His team was punctual, efficient, and displayed a high level of craftsmanship. The new roof not only looks fantastic but has also provided us with peace of mind, knowing that those troublesome leaks are a thing of the past. For anyone in need of roofing services, I canâ t recommend Gabriel and his team enough. Their commitment to quality work and customer satisfaction is evident in every shingle they lay. A big thank you to the entire crew for their excellent job on our roof!"

FAQs for traditional stucco repair or partially replace projects in Pearland, TX

Minor stucco fixes—like sealing small cracks or adding fresh caulk—often wrap up in an hour or two. Larger jobs that call for cutting out damaged sections, installing new lath, and layering fresh stucco can stretch to three or four days because each coat needs time to cure. A pro removes loose material, cleans and dampens the area, applies a bonding agent, and builds up new layers, matching texture and restoring the wall’s weather shield.

Watch for a stucco surface that stays damp days after a storm, develops dark stains, or feels soft or spongy under light pressure. Inside, moisture rings, peeling paint, or soft drywall around windows point to the same issue. Any of these red flags mean water is trapped behind the siding, and it’s time to call a stucco pro before rot or mold sets in.

Give your stucco a once-over every spring and fall. Semiannual checks let you catch hairline cracks, stains, or damp spots before they snowball into pricey repairs. Keep a flashlight handy, look closely around windows and doors, and call a pro if you notice anything soft or discolored. Staying ahead of minor issues protects both your curb appeal and your home’s weather barrier.

A pro starts by scraping away loose material, then cleans and lightly wets the area so new stucco will stick. After brushing on a bonding agent, they build fresh layers, letting each coat cure before adding the next. The final step is matching the texture and color so the patch blends in and the wall regains full weather protection.

Think of repair as a patch: the pro fixes only the visible crack or hole. Remediation goes deeper—crews strip away the compromised stucco, correct the root problem (often water or mold), then rebuild the wall. If tests show structural rot or trapped moisture, remediation is the safer, longer-lasting route; otherwise, a straightforward repair often does the trick.
