I found them on Angi and had a good feeling from my very first conversation with Ardi—and I was right. Ardi and his cousin Benny are fantastic. Ardi was incredibly patient and thorough as we asked a ton of questions before making our decision. He delivered on everything he promised—and even went above and beyond. They are polite, organized, and truly meticulous in their work. Ardi showed up every day on time and worked so hard, with a calm, methodical approach. We’re in Central NJ, which meant more than an hour of travel each way, but that never impacted his punctuality or commitment. This was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. "Harold is a thief. He took $14,000 in cash from me for a deposit to remodel my basement and then outright failed to show up for the job as planned. He later explained he was/is going through personal issues and so I asked for the money back and to cancel the job entirely since he had not started after 6 weeks of having my money. He confessed that he spent it all and didn?t have it. I offered him to repay me with a credit card, or weekly installments, or even to start/finish the job, but he has now ignored all texts and calls. He is clearly a con man. I have filed a police report for the theft and filed a lawsuit. Do NOT under any circumstances use Harold Mas for anything. "

"It was amazing 🤩 I made a call to MAS and Harold and Lauren were at my home the next day. Harold, Pete and Gabrielle were extremely hard working and so courteous and such a joy to work with!! I actually was so pleased with the deck that I asked for a quote on vinyl fencing. I would strongly recommend this company for any work needed. It means so much when the actual owner of the company comes and does the work alongside his employees. I did happen to see one horrible review from someone who was 100% 😑. It was actually the only bad review so clearly it was not the fault of MAS but rather the idiot that posted such an incredibly inaccurate and incorrect review. I will definitely recommend this company to my family and friends and take it from me, I can really be a PITA when things are getting done at my home but not once was I ever meant to feel like I was being a PITA. The customer service skills of Harold and Lauren and their team is remarkable!!!"
