"In late fall, I noticed that a piece of a stone wall abutting my driveway had broken off and was drifting into the driveway. Concerned that the wall would fall into the driveway, I contacted Quinn Brothers Masonry. They came out within two days, assessed the situation and gave me an estimate. The work involved taking down both walls, knocking off old mortar on the stones, and removing ivy. After the walls were taken down, protective covering was placed on the exposed dirt, and drainage pipes and gravel were installed. They then rebuilt the walls, using the original stones. While rebuilding the walls, Patrick Quinn advised me that my stone house foundation had been compromised by paint and old mortar. I authorized additional work to restore the foundation. The paint on the stone foundation was removed and the old mortar was taken out. Then, the entire foundation had new mortar installed. I am extremely pleased with the results and will definitely hire them again."

"They were all very respectful, they cleaned up afterwards, they volunteered info and I could not have asked for a better group of guys to work with.  I liked their energy and I do have another job that they will be doing in the next week or so.  I will be getting my driveway done in the back of the house.  I live in a row home and the back garage driveway is cracked in several places and need a do over.  I wanted the "black top", but i opted to go with cement because I really like the work that D&D Concrete did.

Maybe it was just a bad day for them and they may perform nice work. I based my decision on initial contact and interaction.

"I couldn't be happier with my experience.  I had been trying to get this job done for three years.  The previous estimates, when I actually got them, were extremely high.  Mike and Mike came over and gave us a fair estimate and worked with us to extend the bottom landing.  I was also excited that they were able to do the stamped concrete at a reasonable price.  They showed up on time and had the old steps removed in one day.  The job site was always safe and neat.  They also took exceptional care of my landscaping which was located extremely close to where the steps were poured.  Mike did a beautiful job stamping the steps, taking extra time to go back and add detailing to it.  They were able to make the concrete coordinate with the existing stone planters I had.  While the entire process took about two weeks (with the powerwashing and sealing), Mike always called and came when he said he would.  I did have to make several phone calls to get the initial estimate but this seems to be pretty standard among concrete companies and we did play some phone tag.  Overall, I couldn't be happier with how the steps turned out. They are beautiful and  I am already planning a project for next spring."
