"They did a good job with fixing the job quickly. I just feel the price should have gone down since it was so quick ($357 for like a half hour-ouch). But that's on me for agreeing on everything too quickly."

"After my request for an electrician on Angi.com, I immediately received a call from Duncan who set up an appointment to give us an estimate. We agreed on the cost, and Duncan set up an appointment for the following morning. Master electrician Elaina arrived promptly at the agreed upon time and completed the rather challenging job in record time. Price, communication, and professionalism exceeded my expectations."

"Great experience! They were very professional with the installation and service, respectful of the home and removal of old furnace, and provided a wonderful new system that has kept the house super comfortable! The utility bill has been significantly reduced from replacing the old heater, no doubt it will be paid for through the savings!!"

"They made about 3 visits, and that is the only contractor that came out to the house that I was disappointed with. At first they brought me on the appointment was on the low side, when they came on the next visit, they got exponentially higher. I would not recommend. I felt that they were trying to take advantage of me price wise. The work was done, but I found that they found a bunch of hot wires unprotected in my wall. I found out because I touched one. I got shocked by one, and that's how I found out that it was hot. The intern was the first time, and the next time was the owner of the company, and he is the one who left things undone, and the price tripled over the visits. The fact that I got shocked kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. He tried to barter his services with something from my work. I work for an airline and he wanted buddy passes."

"I purchased 2 hours of electrical labor for $149. With 2 projects, I thought this would be a great deal. When I scheduled they said they were sending 2 electricians for one hour instead of 1 electrician for two hours. I figured this was fine, one could work each job. Instead they sent an electrician and his apprentice. The electrician worked on the outlet and his apprentice ran his errands getting tools and standing and watching him work. Needless to say the ceiling fan did not get done. They were done in 45 minutes and then were going to charge me an additional $45 for parts. When I complained he said he would credit me the 15 minutes left and therefore would call it even. Overall $149 for an outlet install was a decent deal. On a side note, the apprentice had dried mud all over his shoes which he tracked into my house. When I pointed it out he was apologetic. Also, the outlet was installed a little too close to the pillar of our pergola. The outlet cover scrapes the pillar every time it's opened and closed. Last year I purchase 8 hours of electrical labor from Front Range Electric and they sent 2 electricians for 4 hours and those men completed 8 different projects, and even made a trip to Lowes for parts."

"Bradley is very professional and very knowledgeable and on time. He was also able to get started on our house right away when others said it would be weeks. Our breaker box was very old and the wiring in our house was a mess and it needed replaced and repaired. We only had a couple of electrical outlets inside the house and we had no power to the bathroom. We also wanted him to also install new ceiling lights and we wanted him to add new outlets. Bradley replaced the old fuse box with a new fuse box and he added new outlets and replaced the old ceiling lights with new ones. He also got power restored to the bathroom. When he was done everything worked like brand-new and his rates were by far the best that we could find. It was the first time ever using an electrician that we felt like we didn't get ripped off."

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Penrose, CO

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
