Clayton came out to our newly purchased home & checked both items. Since the chimney had apparently been cleaned prior to purchase and the dryer vent about 4 feet long, they discounted the price. Both dispatcher (Becky) and Clayton were very nice & mannerly. Can't say enough good things about my experience with this company. Thank you, so much!"

"<p>Awesome. This company is professional and they care about their quality of work and the customer. Mike Rine came out pretty quick after our call and was the first contractor to return our call of several I called. We ended up evaluating five contractor bids. </p> <p>Mike was great, totally professional. He showed me where the leak was potentially coming from and what they would need to do to take care of it. They also bid on repairing the flat roof. Our roof was the original from 1986. So we knew time was limited and we were also considering re-roofing based on the previous leak history.  Mike thought we could go another year or two, as we are counting our pennies. Mike explained everything thoroughly, regardless of the fact I had no roofing background. This was a major plus for Roofstar compared to other contractors who did not explain things. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />After reviewing 4 other bids from other A rated Angie's contractors, we decided to call Mike back to bid on the whole roof instead of just the repair. We felt he was trust worthy, detailed and honest.  He still encouraged us we could wait another 2 years, but that since this was a good time for us with a 27 year old roof to move forward in doing the re-roofing now. </p> <p><br />As requested, Mike submitted a second proposal, this time for re-roofing instead of repair and repair to the flat patio roof and recoat.  Any questions we had Mike answered and documented it in an email.  A few things stood out: <br /> <br />1. They don't subcontract. This was a plus. The employees are theirs.<br /> <br />2. Manufacturer provides a 10 yr warranty on their underlayment material. <br /> <br />3. Roofstar provided a 10 year workmanship warranty. </p> <p><br />They did an awesome job. They were immaculate, every day the property was cleaned up and left SPOTLESS!  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />At the end of the job the company owner Jeff Knudson came out and personally inspected the job and personally took care of a minor item I noted. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I want to make a special note they were very conscious we had two small dogs in our backyard at times and they all dutifully closed our gate.</p> <p>Juan was the lead on the job, and handled everything on the daily basis. Roofstar's owner stopped by during the job a couple of  times to review the status and at the end did a final inspection, this really impressed me.  James came back and did a small touch up I requested.  The whole team was very good. </p> <p><br /></p> Their price was right at mid point of the bids we received. <br />"

"<p>We were very impressed with Golden's professionalism and service. They called the day before to re-confirm the appointment, and arrived promptly on time the day of service. The two technicians were very careful during the cleaning, taking extra care to keep our new carpet from getting dirty. In the end, the fireplace was clean & tidy and the inspection of the flu/chimney/cap showed that everything was in good working order. They were also very attentive to answering our questions and making recommendations as to the type of grate we needed to replace our old one. "Every experience has been excellent! They replaced the shingles under my AC unit and the paper and tiles over my garage. Two other companies wanted to paper and tile my entire roof. New Life Roofing staff are honest and replaced what was necessary. For my current home, they repositioned tiles, added flashing around the pipes and replaced the patio roof. The price was fair. This past week, for seven days straight, your workers installed five air conditioning units. The team was extraordinary, working long hours to get the job done. They started and ended the job as promised. They oversaw a crane that lifted the five compressors over our roof. They did continuous trouble shooting. Simply, they did the job right. Moreover, they were great communicators. They answered our questions precisely and clearly. They gave us confidence. They were courteous and maintained the highest professional standards. I'd like to comment specifically on several of your crew, who went far and beyond to do the great job they did. Let me begin with Taden. At the ripe age of 20, he has what it takes to be a leader. He oversaw every detail for twelve hours a day. He spoke kindly and directly to those working with him. He did not hesitate to jump in and do the gritty work. He climbed ladders, got on his belly, gathered materials, and installed the ACs with expertise and care. As a former business owner, I cannot say enough about this young man. He is any company's dream worker/supervisor. This kid will go far! Rick, as you no doubt know, is an AC master. He was on top of every move. He knew his stuff, and directed others with a soft kindness that only an experienced supervisor can do. Rick reassured us at every juncture. He did not hesitate to jump in, like Taden, and do what had to be done. Again, as a former business owner, this is the kind of worker I'd grab and do everything to keep! Jordan was also diligent and hard-working. As the “big” guy on the job, he lifted objects with ease. He always had a smile, even as the sweat was pouring off his face. Working under Taden’s guidance, he was outstanding. Finally, on the last day of the job, we had the pleasure of meeting Jonathan. He is a true techie. He had to resolve electrical and mechanical issues. Most particularly, he found a problem with one of the AC returns that no one had noticed in 17 years. Imagine that! He discovered a large AC return under a kitchen island. Then he got on his stomach, for at least an hour, and cleaned it out, removing inches of debris. Without this intervention, our new Bosch unit might have failed. In a climate when business owners cannot find good help, hats off to you, Rich, for hiring the best of the best. I’m trying to think of when I last saw a crew work 12 hour days…maybe never. When I suggested to the crew that call it a night at 11PM, Rick, the overall supervisor, simply said, “Not ‘til the job’s done.” Also, Jeff, who sold us on the job, was instrumental in having us choose you, among the many companies out there. He was specific, honest, and responsive to our questions. We are thankful to Jeff for selling us on Magic Touch. Bottom line, we give your company and your expert workers five stars!
