However, the real reason for me commenting today is because of their technician Greg Hughes. I recently had a tree come down in my back yard and it did a lot of damage to my lawn. "Service was okay.  I felt they should have spent a more time and care on the spot treating of weeds.  Each monthly application of various time dependent chemicals took technician only 5 - 10 minutes, total, to apply to my entire lawn.  This is according to their summary that they leave.  I know they will come out between applications and re-treat the weeds, but as the weed killer...particularly the spot treatment...takes up to 3 weeks for the weeds to start dying, it would be almost time for the next treatment when I would call and say that there is still a lot of weeds in my yard.  Just feel that, for the cost, I should have had better results.  I cancelled the service this year. <br />"

"They are wonderful. I never have to worry all winter long. I know my snow will be removed completely and in a timely manner. When I worked it was always by 7:00 a.m. unless there were extenuating circumstances. Now that I am retired I am cleaned out during the night or by around 8, it possible. They salt, because I ask them to, so I never have ice buildup on the driveway or walks. They close the back fence door so the dog can't get out. They are polite and hard working. With e-mail they send a message when we are expecting a storm and indicate their clean up plan. Then they update it during the storm. During one particularly bad storm they forgot to do my deck and I couldn't get the screen door open to let the dog out. I sent them a message and they were right here, within 15 minutes. <br /> <br /> Are they expensive? Perhaps more than some companies, but you are paying for dependability. If it means a lot to you to KNOW the snow will be removed, it's worth it. Now that I am on a fixed income they have set up payment terms with me so I pay a flat rate each month until the full bill is paid. Usually by  April.  They are very willing to work with me."
