Due to a minor water leak a section of drywall about 8' x 2' had been cut out. The trim in this area and on the other side of the hall plus a closet had to be placed as well. The drywall and trim had been removed due to a small amount of mold from the water leak.  I called George's painting due to all the great reviews here on Angie's list.  I received an estimate on this work and in addition I asked for an estimate on some painting.  I thought the estimate was very fair. George was extremely professional and even came to look at what the job entailed late on a Friday evening as he was returning from other jobs on his way back to his office. This was absolutely fine with me as I had no plans to go anywhere.  George sent my estimate first thing Monday morning.

In the end I used George's only for the drywall and trim work. The job was easily scheduled and the 2 man crew did an outstanding job. I couldn't even tell there had been any damage. The trim work was outstanding as well with nice miter cuts. It lined up well with the existing molding where the miter cuts met.  It only took them approximately 4 hours to do the job.  I plan to call George's in the future for outside painting of my house.

"I had been struggling to find a firm to repair my bedroom ceiling drywall and replace insulation ik my attic after a major water leak from my roof. Robert & Son Construction responded to my inquiry within hours and came to my home the same day to give me a very reasonable estimate. They then scheduled the repair two days later and were in an out in less than 6 hours. My ceiling is pristine and looks like nothing ever happened! The patch isnt even discernable a d that was no small feat as it abutted a sprinkler line. Truly impressed with the workmanship and the customer service! The insulation they installed has even dramatically improved the temperature control in the room and they painted the ceiling and left the remaining product for me use without additional cost. They were professional, prompt, kept me up to date with everything along the way, and they did it all with smiles! Cannot recommend this company enough!!"

"Gustavo saved my renovation. My friends and family members all know Gustavo by name because I have talked about him so much. I happily, but naively, bought a fixer upper at the begining of COVID and called Gustavo to repair my ceilings (I'd ripped off the gross acoustic tiles and didn't know what to do with the caving and peeling plaster I'd revealed). Gustavo and his crew repaired everything. Then I asked him about some other walls. Then about updating some doors. Then re-framing a rotted wall. He's done plaster refinishing, drywall install, patched my brick feature wall, and even managed to get perfect seams along the brick-drywall corners to keep out any bugs you know want to creep in. He replaced my original tin ceiling in my kitchen. Last week he fixed my dryer vent. It's gone so well I've hired him for 9 separate contracts in 5 months. Today he's re-plastering the 135 year old original plaster walls in my bathroom and I'm confident that in a couple days it will look as fabulous as the rest of the house now does. As a single woman, managing all of this on my own I have to tell you he is the nicest, most trustworthy person I've met this entire renovation and has saved me from sloppy and sketchy work from multiple other contractors and trades. He calls, he shows up when he says he will, and has too strong morals to price gauge anyone. The few times anything went wrong, he came back and fixed it until we were both happy with the result. Whether you're renovating a whole house or repainting a room, it's a lot of headache - save yourself some stress and call someone you can count on."

"Jeff and his wife and business partner Kimberly make a great team. Kimberly helped us pick out paint colors and gave us ideas for sprucing up the fireplace, and for new light fixtures. They communicated very well with us, both via phone and over email, always getting back to us promptly. When they were ripping down some old dental molding along the top of the living room built-in bookcases, they found some old water damage. Jeff's partner Neil did a great job of just sanding down the crown molding a bit, and making this fit, so that we didn't have to get into the big project of opening up the ceiling. They didn't charge us anything extra to do the little ceiling repair job. (We are expecting to do a larger renovation later and rip out that whole wall where the small damage was found, so it didn't make sense to invest in a big job on the ceiling there right now)."

"I called Buzz on a Friday afternoon and told him that I had a water leak behind some drywall in my basement. He agreed to come out on Saturday morning. He arrived on Saturday before 7:30 am. Prior to removing drywall, he determined that it was not a sewage leak. He then removed some drywall and found the leak in a cold water pipe due to electrolysis between the copper pipe and a nail. He then cut additional drywall to repair the leak. While he was at it, he re-routed the pipe so that it would no longer hang down below the ceiling. After soldering in the new section of pipe, he treated the mold problem caused  by the leak and installed new drywall. He then mudded in the new drywall and returned the area to a paint ready state."
