"We hired Reyes Concrete to expand the entrance to our driveway. The added a section of galvanized pipe to the culvert, then poured concrete to give us the larger driveway that we wanted. The work was EXCELLENT. They were also very easy to deal with. They returned phone calls. They showed up when they said they would. And the completed the project very quickly. The people at Reyes Concrete are true professionals. If we ever need any other concrete work done, they will be the first call we make. We recommend them very highly!"

"When you meet the President, Matt B. you immediately know this is a decent guy. He will not try to talk you into anything, especially something expensive. He will explain your options and he will help you see pros and cons, but never pushes you toward a particular thing or "upgrade." He's extremely responsive. He follows up on the job, even after it's completed, to make sure everything went well and the area is clean of debris. The crew is conscientious and respectful. With Prime Management we got a trustworthy company, fair pricing, responsiveness, flexibility, and a great work. I can't recommend Prime Management more strongly. You'll have peace of mind that it will be done right, and you're not being gauged."

"MARCOS concrete did a wonderful job, extending my backyard, concrete patio. I am pleased with the work they have done so far therefore they will be doing other job tasks for me such as laying carpet tile and putting up a gazebo. As well as a outdoor shed upon finishing those task, I will write another review, but as far as me, I would recommend this company"

"Work started when promised. Hard fast workers. Moved quicker than I thought. Actual pour was delayed due to a concrete truck malfunction, but when delivery was rescheduled, they worked to finish before dark. This was not an issue or inconvenience for me. Very happy with the way it turned out and how they tied it in to my current drive that was on a slope."

FAQs for concrete delivery projects in Peterson, AL

The amount of concrete you need varies by project. One 80lb bag covers an area of about 2 square feet, for a slab 4 inches thick. Two 60lb bags of concrete cover an area of about 2 square feet for a slab that is 6 inches thick.

A truckload of concrete can usually hold a maximum of 10 cubic yards.

The cost of concrete per cubic yard depends on which brand you purchase, but usually costs about $110 for bags.

It takes about 41 bags of concrete to fill a cubic yard. Always plan to buy a few bags more than the exact required amount in case of mistakes.

To calculate the amount of concrete you need for a slab, you should find the cubic yardage of the area you will be filling. Just follow these steps:

  1. Measure the area in feet.

  2. Multiply length by width, and then by thickness.

  3. Divide the resulting number by 27 to find cubic yards.
