"The entire process was easy and painless! This project has been overwhelming but thanks to the detailed designs, we have a clear understanding of the completed space.  <br /> The process started when David met me at the home to look at the entire structure. He was thorough and energetic about the conversation. In addition, he spent quality time understanding our family's lifestyle, interests and needs for the space. From there he engaged his partner to come over and measure and photograph the space for the drawings. Upon the completion of the drawings we spoke over the phone about the flow of the space, the changes we needed and how best to execute the final design. David turned over the final design in a matter of weeks from start to finish so we could engage with our contractors and engineers. <br /> Following the completion of the kitchen design David completed a lighting plan as well. I was able to give this to our electricians and keep the project on track while ensuring clear direction and accountability for work. Since he did the original layout, this additional request was handled quickly and thoughtfully as well. <br /> There were few additional highlights in this experience: <br /> <ul> <li>- David has a VERY thorough client assessment document. The intent is to understand how we live but also our values which can be translated in the design and material selection. It allowed us to have good conversations about different aspects of the home and the project.</li> <li>- David has a wealth of information about building considerations for environmental and health considerations. While we didn't set out to build a "green" kitchen, I did use his advise for conversations with other contractors and overall building material selections. </li> <li>- David was very responsive. It should be noted that he works between MO and CA but I did not encounter any problems. We communicated via email, phone and text to stay in touch.</li> <li> - David's vision for the space was truly a highlight. We were so conditioned to assume how best to use the space but David brought new ideas forward which transformed the layout and allowed us to get everything we wanted with no trade offs. That alone was thrilling! </li> </ul> <br /> <br />"

"I have hired Mike Haas of Digital Plus previously, and his work was A+ again this time. We were refinishing our basement and I asked Mike to install a large TV on the wall, and attach it to a new receiver with surround sound speakers. Along with this, he set up zone 2 TV/speakers for our patio area. We also had a second smaller TV mounted in our new exercise room, where he custom built a shelf, inset in the wall for our DVD/satellite box, that turned out great! He pre-wired everything in a way that not one wire/cord is visible. Mike is a professional and does not stop until the job is 100% complete. He does fabulous work and is meticulous with the details. When it was done, he is very good at explaining how to use the system to get the most out of it. I would highly recommend using Digital Plus for any type of home electronic installation."
