"The bookcase turned out beautifully, and I admire the fit and finish. Installation was as scheduled and reasonably fast. The designer, Cressa Gamache, did careful measurements, explained the options to me, sent several drawing of the proposed bookcase, and even did some experiments on lighting (the bookcase has a row of little LED lights at the top to illuminate the book spines so I can tell what the titles are even at night). There were a couple of small flaws in the initial installation, which they came back and fixed in a few days with no prodding from me. Overall I am very satisfied with this job."

"We contracted with J&J construction on their DIY program to add an en-suite bathroom to an existing bedroom in our basement. Although the bathroom is small, the unfinished space required quite a bit of work as it was not plumbed so they had to jackhammer a significant trench run (20’) through the concrete basement. They did a great job working around finished spaces and we’re very happy with the final result. Jeremy, the owner, is easy to work with. He has a lot of projects going on but I was able to text questions or concerns and he always responded quickly. Dan, the site supervisor, was friendly and responsive. They worked around our vacation and two surgeries that happened during our construction, which we really appreciated. I was proactive in pushing the project forward by always questioning what needed to be scheduled/done for the next 1-3 days, maybe too much, but they never pushed back. I would use J&J again, if needed and I am happy to recommend them to fellow homeowners."

"I actually made two trips to discuss my ideas, take a quick look at their inventory and discuss cost and timing.  They have a huge selection of granite slabs in the yard and quickly showed it to me with no pressure, but were very responsive to my special request even though this was a very small order for them.  They took my design measurements, fabricated the table top and delivered it within a week.  Reasonable prices and timely service.  Good to work with."
