"Mike T. and his crew continue to be our go-to contractor for all things concrete and landscaping. Their work is consistently outstanding and priced right, no matter the size of the job. If something doesn't look right, they fix it. They suggest options we hadn't thought of. We've never been disappointed. They're professional and a pleasure to work with. We miss them when the job is done...they feel like family! HIGHLY RECOMMEND."

"Great job by Joe and his sons from Pellicore Concrete. They did a great job for me with a concrete patio at the back of my house. Completed the job in a short period of time without rushing. Very satisfied, Joe was very helpful and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future."

"They were absolutely fantastic! I posted online that I was looking for a contractor to move about 10 to 12 yards of dirt that was dug out when I put in my exterior garage, and they replied the same day. We had a phone conversation , which turned into a zoom meeting, where we were able to discuss the job in detail. The next day he came out and we walked through the job , came up with a price, and he showed up two days later on Monday morning at 7:30 a.m. just as he said he would. I would call them back for another job in a moment. "

"I really appreciated how quickly they responded to my request for an estimate. Once I approved the estimate they were able to schedule the job the very next week. Communication was very good and the crew assigned to the job worked quickly and professionally. They consulted me while they were trimming to make sure I was satisfied with how much they were taking off the trees. I would definitely call them again for future tree work and recommend to others. FAQs for concrete delivery projects in Philadelphia, PA

The amount of concrete you need varies by project. One 80lb bag covers an area of about 2 square feet, for a slab 4 inches thick. Two 60lb bags of concrete cover an area of about 2 square feet for a slab that is 6 inches thick.

A truckload of concrete can usually hold a maximum of 10 cubic yards.

The cost of concrete per cubic yard depends on which brand you purchase, but usually costs about $110 for bags.

It takes about 41 bags of concrete to fill a cubic yard. Always plan to buy a few bags more than the exact required amount in case of mistakes.

To calculate the amount of concrete you need for a slab, you should find the cubic yardage of the area you will be filling. Just follow these steps:

  1. Measure the area in feet.

  2. Multiply length by width, and then by thickness.

  3. Divide the resulting number by 27 to find cubic yards.
