They consulted with me on construction day, and completed the $2900 job nicely in 2 days. Being pleased with their work, I asked for help designing a landscape project along a 50 foot stone wall. That $2200 job was also done very well in one day. When issues arose, Lily handled them like a boss. I really appreciated her calling me directly to offer a solution. "Fantastic! Professional service, four Leland Cyprus trees two stories tall, carefully removed, stump ground, fresh top soil for new arborvitae which were planted and staked well. New plantings were spaced well and soil tamped around root ball. Mulch applied.Old plant material removed and yard neat as a pin when work completed. The work was done very well with a knowledgeable crew , friendly, and they show pride in their work. I would highly recommend their services. My landscape looks fresh and new, very happy with a job well done."

"Brian and his crew were absolutely incredible. We just moved into a home in Takoma Park, MD and our front and back yard were in need of some major work. The backyard was a complete jungle. It was extremely overgrown with weeds, brush, poison ivy, and dead/unattractive trees. Brian's crew manually dug out everything and removed all of the dead trees as well as their roots. They also cut back a ton of bamboo and then laid mulch down in the entire yard. Brian and his crew were able to start within days after getting the final quote. Brian is an extremely reasonable, knowledgable, and caring person. In addition to his landscaping knowledge, he is also a "master gardener." "This work took place eleven months ago, but that gives us the ability to say that everything Kurt’s team planted looks great and is growing nicely, except one bush that is struggling, which Kurt agreed to replace without hesitation. We have been in our house for 22 years, and finally got around to replacing the crummy landscaping and walkway the developer put in. Distinct Landscapes installed a paver walkway, and a complete set of bushes, flowers and a crape myrtle tree. The work was done very well and within budget, and the crew distinguished itself by how well they cleaned up the site. The spacing between plantings to allow for future growth seems perfect. Most of all we like Kurt. He is low-key and friendly, offers solid, knowledgeable opinions when asked, and never applies any sort of sales pressure.
