"We hired Affordable Lawn Sprinklers and Lighting at the recommendation of our patio contractor, in connection with the reconstruction of our front entryway. We wanted accent lights installed into the hardscape. From beginning to end, our experience was fabulous. Ryan came out and walked through the project, giving recommendations for what type of light would look the best and offering a couple of options. He was quick to respond to questions, and quick to adjust quotes as needed. The installation went very smoothly. On the day of the job, the installers gave me the choice to make a final tweak - which I did. The equipment was placed where I wanted, well installed and clearly explained. UPDATE - 2/4/2015 - They did come to my home and provided an estimate and plan for lighting our back yard and deck. 6 lights were included in our original purchased deal. Their proposal was for the original 6 lights plus another $1500 worth of lighting. I like their plan but we weren't prepared to spend the additional money at this time. They came out yesterday and installed just the initial 6 lights. They arrived on time and the work they did is wonderful. Our deck is beautifully lit now and I am very happy. While this relationship got off to a rocky start, they made it right and we will hire them again when we're ready to finish the back yard lighting. Also - the deal was supposed to be for the front of the house - but that wasn't clear when I bought the deal - so they allowed us to use our 6 lights on the deck. I'm sure they want the front so that they can show off their work - and that makes sense to me - as their work is worth showing off. I would now highly recommend this company."

"Very responsive, a professional and very pleasant mechanic, excellent work, a bit exspensive, over $500.00 for 5plugs. The problem is they failed to fix the plug that was dead and failed to investigate or repair the flickering lights. I still have no idea if there is a fire hazard due to an electrical short. They did not appear to have any interest in dealing with the issue. Bottom line: I now have to hire another electrician. I originally chose Palmer because they are local, were very responsive to my inquiry and had an excellent rep per Angie's List. It is unclear to me why they were unwilling to complete the job. In any event, they failed me. I will identify and retain another electrician, just not through Angie's List . They failed me as well."

"Asa was prompt and went above and beyond on the service call. He quickly found the cause of the misalignment of my sliding glass doors. He also noticed a light that wasn't properly installed, and fixed it in the same service trip for me. He was very professional and tried alternative approaches to solve the issue with my glass doors - although it turns out I need to reframe or replace them. I plan to use Asa for the installation of new doors in the future, as well as additional jobs in my home.

"Contractor arrived earlier than scheduled and got straight to work.  Unfortunately the problem with the light involved more complex electrical work than I had thought so it was not fixed.  However, he did fix the problem I was having with the faulty lighting in the ceiling fans from my original request - I was using the wrong light-bulbs.  Go figure!
