"Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."

"Torres Roofing did an Excellent job patching my sister's trailer roof. There still are contractors that show up on time for both the estimate and the actual job. The job was completed with before and after pictures and i was completely satisfied. They do need to improve on itemized invoices for job bids."

"Projects: New roof; interior wall; bathroom remodels; new fireplace; new decks; hardscape; new windows; interior/exterior painting. I ran into Mike Perry (Pioneer Construction) at Steamboat Lumber in winter of 2019 as I was asking the clerk if she knew anyone who could build me an interior wall. That project was a great success, and I have been working with Pioneer ever since on a variety of projects which have turned our house and barn from shabby/drab to beautiful and functional. Mike and his crew are a pleasure to work with, and I am very grateful for his professionalism, expertise, and eye for aesthetics and design which have resulted in outcomes far better than I had anticipated. Mike is also adept at working with local authorities on code compliance and getting inspections executed in a timely manner. Ask Mike for my number and I’ll be happy to share more details with any prospective client."

"The last was a rental company that we have and we used them for an air conditioning and heating system. It was Bototach Mechanical. It’s been a good program for us. They’re very responsive. I don’t know what the thought process was. My husband said, well let’s try these guys and so we did. We have an older home and it’s proved to be a very good deal. The quality has been pretty good, so I would give them an A for the quality. I will give you one helpful hint though. If the company decides they want to replace an appliance, you need to call them and negotiate with them because you can upgrade, but you need to talk to them in person not just do it over the internet."

"Nick came by our home on a Saturday, provided an immediate quote and had our roof replaced by mid week (thanks to the fact he had a crew in the area finishing up another job!). His crew took the steps to protect the surrounding area, removed the old roof, replaced the new shingles and cleaned everything up in under a day and a half. Nick, thank you for your promptness and professionalism!"
