"We just had the roof redone on our 2012 park model by German Roofing. Price quoted was fair and reasonable. Appointment times were made and kept throughout the process. They used 30# felt, 30 year shingles, replaced all the vent caps and replaced sheets of wood in 3 places. They shared pictures before, during and upon completion of the roof. Area was cleaned up at the end of each day. Communication between the office and me was excellent. We had a final inspection, with answers to all my questions, about a week after the job was completed and final payment was made then. Highly recommend this company."

Long Verson:

We decided to get three estimates to see what ballpark we would be working in, Hugh was the first representative we met from Sunguard. At first he explained why not to use other companies, and I personally never like that approach, but then he started talking about what Sunguard would do to exceed the services of any others. He mentioned things like the trim around the garage, the way they clean and prep before the job, painting all the way down to the ground, their touch-up process and the final outcome. Sunguard's bid also came in lower than the other two bids we got, and they even included a small stucco job in the back on a 2-sided, about 4 foot high air conditioning wall I had built. We wanted it stuccoed to match the house, and they included the job in the total cost for less than any other companies bid just for the paint job. We decided to go with them and they gave us a date about three weeks out, which seemed more than reasonable and then we didn't hear from them for a week and a half, maybe that is standard, but it seemed weird to us, nonetheless, when we gave them a call just to check up, Walter called us back immediately and started getting the info on our colors and plans and they even moved up their start day by three days, which made things even better. Jaime was the first man to show up on the first day and he was awesome throughout the two days. He made sure that everything was done right and he and his partner, Roberto, on the second day did most of the work. Jaime worked mostly by himself the first day, cleaning, power washing, and scraping the house to prep it. It took him a majority of the day, from like 10am til about 4-5pm. Anytime he was unsure what to do he came and asked us how we wanted it done. Walter (the owner) showed up the first day in the afternoon to check up on how things were going and from the first meeting was nice and very personable. He ensured us of the quality of the job that would be done and he definitely didn't disappoint. He also came the second day to make sure the job had been done correctly and to help out so that everything was just right. We were more than happy with the paint job that was done and would definitely use Sunguard again in the future. We love the way the house looks and they took care of details that I never would have thought of, such us painting the watering faucets, pvc pipes for the sprinkeler system, and certain wires so that they fit in seamlessly with the house. They replaced the siding on the garage and painted the new siding so that it looks much cleaner. We have been more than happy with the job done. The only negatives I could add would be the lost contact for about 10 days previously mentioned, and two patches of rock on the ground (one in the front and one in the back) were discolored by the paint, not really a big deal, just had to mix it around with other rock to get rid of it. Again, excellent company, I felt like they actually cared if I like it.
