"Mike arrived at the specified time, asked about our chimney needs and concerns, and went right to work. He made sure we understood the time frame in regard to his lunch time, purchase of a part, and return to the job. I greatly appreciated this, as I did not have to spend the whole afternoon waiting on him. He is very professional. He made me aware of what he was going to do, what the charge would be, and if the service was needed now or could be done at a later date. Mike's charges were more than fair for the work done. He took care to leave the work area clean. I would recommend Top Hat, and use him again. <br />"

"After inspecting everything, they recommended more work to make fireplace safe to use. I also needed a new chimney cap as water was leaking into the house. I had a water spot on the ceiling but thought the recent roof replacement fixed that. Chimney cap was sunk in and water was sitting, slowly dripping into the house. They fixed everything. Fireplace is now safe. Very happy with the work."

"I was concerned about our family room fireplace chimney because of potential seepage of moisture.  I saw a deal on Angie's List  from Bear Svc for a chimney inspection and cleaning and signed up for it.  I guess the deal must have been very popular because the earliest they could sing me up for an appointment was well over a month.  The gentleman that came (sorry, I forgot his name) did an excellent job...was very thorough and professional.  He showed me where the problem was (loose grout near the top of the chimney was the potential source of the moisture leak).  He recommended a masonry firm that could fix the problem.  I also had him and check a second fireplace that we had and also clean out our drier vent.  Price I thought was reasonable.  Did a thorough job and took his time to make sure everything was done right.  Covered the area around where he cleaned the fireplace and did not leave any mess behind which we appreciated.  Would wholeheartedly recommend them and definitely use them again! <br />"

"The owner did a thorough inspection, and suggested a few additional repairs in addition to my primary one. The price was doable. Danny came within the week and accomplished everything between about 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM. It looks as if it's a fine job, professional accomplished."

"My dealings with this company went very well.  We had lived in our house 11 years and had never used the fireplace gas log.  I decided I wanted to use it occasionally but wanted to have it inspected and cleaned.  When I called Aynes Enterprises, the lady in the office explained the cost very clearly.  The minimum charge would be $95, and the charge could go up to $159.95 if repairs needed to be made or anything other than a basic inspection and clean.  The work was scheduled, and the serviceman came at the appointed time.  He was very neat, tidy, and pleasant.  He suggested that we add more lava rocks to the base of the fireplace for cosmetic reasons.  I have a good impression of this company and will use them again. <br />"

"They did a very good job. There wasn't dust all over the house or anything. They had a vacuum that they stuck up the chimney. I would hire them again.  <br /> <br /> They showed up on time and were very professional. They knew what they were doing. That's all you can ask. They did the work.  <br /> <br /> This wasn't a big chimney or anything. I don't know of any improvements. They stuck their tool up there and went to cleaning. They had a vacuum they stuck up there with it. There wasn't' any dust or debris. They cleaned up anything that fell. They did a good job.  <br /> <br /> The price was average compared to others."

"Cody and his crew got on the job on schedule, and had it completed quickly, efficiently, and very professionally. When I had an additional leak later, Cody came and checked it out the same day. Even though it turned out to be an area unrelated to the work Precision had done, Cody repaired that additional area for no charge. Precision Brickworks would definitely be my first, and maybe only call for any future work I'd need."

"Mr. Baxter was extremely difficult to reach. In June, he said he would come by the next week to look at the job and provide an estimate. He didn't show up and over the next 5 weeks did not return a single phone call. He suddenly just showed up at the house, quickly looked at the chimney and provided an estimate. While it is completely understandable that this is a very busy time and Mr. Baxter is probably covered up with work, it is inexcusable to fail to return phone calls. Customers and potential customers should be treated with more consideration and respect. We ended up going a different route and did not hire."
