"This is a no brainer. Definitely call them and get a quote. They are great! Bob and Tara treat you like family and are good people. I have a house built in the 1960s, and I have used a lot of contractors. I feel M. Rhodes company is as good as any contractor I have used. They have great prices. Their employees do excellent work. Bob was always calling me and making sure everything was going well and making sure I was happy with everything. They are the kind of people who if there is a problem. I believe they will make it right. We didn't really have any problems with them. I got 3 quotes on windows. Their price was the best. The double hung windows they installed are awesome. The look great and the color matched my house. This was a major upgrade to the look of my house. It made it quieter inside. They have excellent thermal properties for energy savings on heat and air bills. I'm definitely glad I did this. The price was significantly better than their competitors. I already had siding partially installed on my house from about 5 years ago from one of their competitors before I heard about M. Rhodes. The competitor also did a great job and is a good company and good people. I was going to use them again to finish out the siding. I got a quote from them. This was an expensive project so I felt it would be wise to get more quotes. When I found M. Rhodes company, I realized they have the best reviews online. So I got a quote from them. M Rhodes had the best prices on windows, gutters and siding. I had 2 quotes on siding, 3 on windows and 2 on gutters. M Rhodes had the best prices by far. On this entire project, I ended up saving a LOT of money by going with M Rhodes. They have very reasonable prices, but what is great is they do excellent work. They are as good as any contractor I have used. Their work and products are A+ quality. They are good people. Treat you well. My house looks soo much better in my opinion. I won't have to deal with ever paying someone to repaint my house again. I feel this really added curb appear and resale value to my house. The functionality of the windows is great. I hardly ever used my old ones, but these new ones are great and have a lot of features which make them easy to use. In my opinion, these upgrades were worth the money and hopefully will save me on my energy bills going forward. I can already feel the difference in heat transfer by putting my had up to the window. My old windows would feel very cold if it was cold outside, but these new windows maintain the inside temperature. I would rate the experience with them as an A+ in price, quality, responsiveness, and all aspects. I later found out that Bob had done siding on 2 or 3 of my grandpas rent houses years ago, and they had a great experience with him as well. My wife found out that her coworkers also had previously used Bob and they said he is great as well. My wife and I both had a wonderful experience and highly recommend M Rhodes. This is a no brainer. Call them right away and get a quote. I'm so happy I did, and so is my pocket book!"

"I contacted Steve at Texas Roof and Fence last fall to get bids on my house and a rent house that had hail damage.  he was very responsive to those requests and quickly got me a bid.
I'm probably not the easiest customer to do business with and I wasn't thrilled with some of his terms and conditions so he agreed to changes I requested.  I'm not sure why but it took a few months to get his signed agreement back to me.  My impression is Steve has a lot of balls in the air and sometimes thinks he has done something he hasn't. 
The roof replacement was done last week.  I am still waiting on the barn roof and gutters which were supposed to be done this week but it's not looking like they will be.
Steve set a high bar and high expectations committing to cleaning up daily which his team didn't do.  He also told me when they cleaned up it would be spotless which it wasn't.   Steve said it was unrealistic to expect they would get more than 99% of the nails, etc.
He may have done better than most roofers would have.  I had high expectations based on the strong reviews he had on Angie's List and in Denton and his representations which fell a little short.  Not sure how much of that is because my expectations were too high and some because his crew or he didn't do what he said they would.
