"Paul came to assess a problem with water soaking the carpet in a portion of our finished basement. Paul helped figure out the problem is likely related to plumbing as opposed to a foundation issue. A plumber came the next day and Paul was right - a copper pipe was leaking from the ceiling and had to be replaced. I appreciate Paul spending some time helping to assess the problem. "Our house is 108 years old and most of the foundation was in terrible shape with bulging, shifting, cracking big enough for possums to get through, and leaking in the front and on both sides. We were on the way to working with another company to do the work when their estimated costs suddenly went sky high and there was no evidence of a contract to show specifically what work they were going to provide. I called Basement Doctor and talked to project manager Rob Forrest, had an evaluation by Al Galko, structural engineer, and met foreman Justin Parks. By the time I had an estimate of cost (expensive, but reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done) and time (also reasonable at 3 to 4 weeks), and a contract to sign that clearly spelled out the work, I was confident in going ahead with Basement Doctor as provider. The main crew of Justin, Matt, and Greg was amazing--considerate, hardworking, professional, punctual, and neat (cleanup every day). Other crews, also efficient and reliable, came to do specific work such as excavating or electric work. The crew found other problems along the way, and there were 2 change orders clearly specifying the work and cost. When a problem cropped up, Justin always let me know right away with one or more solutions already in mind. Disruption to our daily living was minimal. The crew went above and beyond the letter of the contract, for example, building new steps to the front porch after having to tear off the old ones and other such touches that continue to make our lives easier. The workmanship was excellent, and we are very happy with the end result. Our basement is solid, dry, and safe. I believe it can stand proud for the next 108 years. "All the above jobs at different schedules were done very well. Tim continues to demonstrate quality job on all my projects. The first time that I encountered Tim was when he installed a new boiler at our rental property. The job was done right; did a clean job in installing; tested all the steam registers in all the apartment units to make sure that they were all working right and tested the boiler to be working right. I was then very impressed with his first job for me. From there on, I asked for him specifically in doing my other projects. This is because I feel that I can trust him to deliver a quality job for me any time. He has been very helpful. He is very knowledgeable because he is able to answer my questions to my satisfaction. The checks and maintenance of two additional gas furnaces went very well. The check and maintenance of an AC unit went very well, too. Tim recommended to replace a defective contact sensor. The new sensor makes the AC unit run only based on temperature setting, instead of running all the time, which would then be a waste in energy. THANKS, TIM!"

"Mr. Skaggs suggested using the jet and camera to locate pipe and problem... although a minimal extra fee  money well spent.. pipe and problem not even close to where it was believed to be... this suggestion by him saved me well over 2 grand... <br />  dug up old clay sewer line and replaced it with new pvc .. he also suggested 2 cleanouts for any situation that might come up in future(great idea)  I live in a hilly wooded area with lots of tree's and roots.  Backfilled the dug up section and cleaned up area..  Mr Skaggs was very professional and knowlegable... prompt and on time... price was well below others checked some of that due to his suggestion of using camera...  no others even mentioned this and just wanted to start digging where we thought it might be... "The service did not go well but that is my fault. I received the test kit but was not able to use it. I was supposed to seal off the home for 4 days before using it but we had construction going on. I have yet to use the test. We received the test in a timely manner. The staff I spoke with were very professional and explained how to use the test very well. –aanaaaana"

"I recently called Jeff and Jenny's Plumbing and Contracting to schedule a semi-remodeling job.The technicians arrived around noon to begin on the bathroom work. They stayed until around 7:00 pm. They were very hard workers and made sure that I had water and that all my fixtures and toilet was working before they left. They came back the next day to finish the ceramic tile and did an excellent job. The technicians were very respectful, and took very little breaks. I fully trust Jeff and Jenny’s employees and their work. They did a fantastic job and would absolutely recommend them to any and everyone who needs plumbing and contracting work done.
