Jose kept me updated with pictures and showed stain suggestions to get my approval. We got back home and our floors looked so beautiful. The old floors were restored and the new wood chosen for the stairs, hallway and two bedrooms matched to perfection. His crew put back all the furniture and cleaned up nicely. "I've used Exposition Carpeting for more than 20 years now.  They have an excellent selection and are extremely helpful, and their prices are reasonable.  When our basement flooded last year, we had wanted to get the same carpeting that had been ruined in the flood, but it was discontinued.  They were SO helpful in poring over books and helping us find something very similar.  There was a miscommunication among their staff which caused our order to be somewhat delayed, but that was the first time I'd had anything less than a stellar experience with them.

"Installers did not come on time, two hours late. Then they had to validate that we paid Empire, which took an hour. The estimate of work was totally wrong, we were supposed to get a floating floor but the installers said they could not do that So they instead did a complete teardown of the existing floor and removed all the old tiles. The quarter round was included in the price of the materials but was never installed because we did not get a raised (floating) floor. So I think I was overcharged for the materials which were not used. I spoke to a number of persons at Empire about such issues without any resolution to my satisfaction. Besides all the problems encountered we do like the floor and it nice looking."
