"I recently had the pleasure of working with ASP SuperHome for the installation of new impact windows and doors in my home, and I couldn't be more satisfied with their service. From start to finish, the entire process was handled with the utmost professionalism. I would like to especially thank the salesperson Peter for his knowledge, commitment and timely response to issues throughout the project. He helped me select strong 9/16” windows with visible transmission of 60% (thus, the outside from inside looks bright) while the solar heat gain was limited to 32% (thus, the house is protected from excessive heat). The windows are rated for +90 and -90 pressure, which is well above the Miami Dade guidelines. The doors are strong and aesthetic. In summary, I received strong, hurricane protection doors and windows that also shield me from heat and noise, move smoothly, and are visually appealing. The quality installers at ASP, Yosyenny and Emilio, demonstrated exceptional skill and attention to detail. They worked diligently and efficiently, ensuring that each window and door was perfectly fitted and securely installed. Despite the extensive work, they maintained a neat and organized workspace, leaving no mess behind. Roy is also a capable installer. Thanks also to Michel and Sergio for project management, and to Emily, Luisa and JJ for the coordination. Overall, my experience with ASP was outstanding. Lead Contractor available to instruct and supervise all difficult or questionable aspects of the installation process. "They did a very good job with the roof and the addition that came off the house and covered the deck. The only reason I gave them a B rating for quality instead of an A has to do with the finishing touches on the addition. All around the house the soffit fascia is covered in white sheet metal. When they finished the addition, which follows the roof line of the back of the house. They left it with bare, untreated wood. They don't use treated lumber because it reacts with the metal roofing and some corrosion may result. That's fine, but they should have at least covered it so that it tied in with the rest of the roof line. As we did our final inspection, I asked about the wood being treated and he explained why they don't use it. I said " so I guess I'll have to cover it?" He said that I would. I was leaving town on business in a couple days and had a lot going on, so I guess I just didn't think to put my foot down and insist they do it. Here in Mobile, Alabama we are the wettest city in the nation. We get more annual rainfall than Seattle, and it's humid. Wood rot happens.I went and bought some Thompson's Water Seal, and some sheet metal and took care of it myself. I have some pictures, but I don't see how to post them on this review page. The workers were very polite and cleaned up very well each day.

"Within a couple days of completion I had insulation falling down and the wrap was hanging on a couple of ends, I feel it could have been done more professionally and not sagging, but I unfortunately feel he was more concerned with how fast he could finish it than be thorough , he is a nice person and I do not like giving bad reviews but I feel unsatisfied with the job and especially the money I spent. The one positive was his father installed a new door for me and he did an outstanding job and took his time."

"First time scheduled; he canceled last minute due to car trouble. Second time scheduled: called me 4 hours ahead of scheduled time and said he was 2 minutes from my place. I wasn't home so, we rescheduled. Third time scheduled: showed up on time and accommodated my request to do a later time. I sent him the manual for assembly and, he said it was an easy job, probably 1 hour; it took 2.5 hours. I told him the entrance to my parking garage only will accommodate 6'3" trucks and he said not a problem, he'd drive his wife's car; he showed up with his truck and then made me pay him the $10.00 for parking on top of my very generous payment of $150.00 for 2.5 hours of work (which should have only taken 1 hour according to his quote). I spent time with him going over several other projects I needed done and we scheduled him to come back the following Saturday. He later texted wasn't sure he could make it but would let me know the next morning. I never heard from him and had to text 3x to get an answer. He didn't respond until 5 pm and said he could come, but it would be later in the day. I asked what timeframe, he responded "idk". I followed up, again, asking if he could come a day the following week instead and, he never responded. I didn't bother to follow up again; it shouldn't be so hard to hire someone to do a job with more follow up on my end, than the person getting paid."

"I was searching Home Warranty providers after a bad experience with my 7 year, soon to be terminated "former" Fidelity Home Warranty service provider. Warranty service providers are essential, for they step in and "act" when life deals you an "Oh Crap" situation like your refrigerator suddenly quits. Every high dollar appliance in a home has a life span that will end whether your prepared for it or not. It's a common occurance that leads to unexpected higher debt concerns while you frantically attempt to save your food from going bad. Got a minimum of $1,700 to get a new one? A truck or a really good friend to borrow theirs to pick it up? Plus time to allow it to achieve proper temperature to transfer your temp sensitive food! Well if you haven't experienced this type of event, in your life, you will! I began by doing some easy research online like searching for best Home Warranty providers. I put some inquiries out to prospective providers and as expected, the sales calls began to ring on my phone. They all have why "they" are the best provider - so take notes and compare policies. Ask whether they cover swimming pools, septic systems, roof repairs etc. So my phone rings with an out-of-state area code and it's Zach from Choice Home Warranty. While on the call, this enthusiastic salesman hit all the "trigger" items I was looking for; *Annual Service Price *Price per claim deductable *Response time You know, all the "need to know" info that helps you make an informative decision. I started paying $550/year 7 years ago in 2014 with my old service provider. The per claim fee was $65. Today in 2022, it's $710/year and $85/claim. Was it worth it you ask? If I figure the math, my total cost over 7 years and only 4 claims was $4,450 or $636/year. This cost paid to replace my pools salt cell and chlorine generator ($1,800 in parts alone), 2 separate Air Conditioner repairs which replaced the coil fan motor, a circuit board replacement, system coil cleansing, relays and a capacitor. (No idea of how much my total cost would have been. I paid $65 twice. Nice huh?) 1 roof repair that replaced the "Cricket", which is a 15' roof section elevational change just below the ridge line. It's important to remember that these repairs don't include "hidden costs" which are personnel and service labor rates. Something you will pay for without a Warranty Service. Here's the best part of the call from this AWESOME salesman. He offered me 6 year "fully transferable", rate locked for life" service policy that when divided out by 6 is LESS THAN WHAT I WAS PAYING ANNUALLY, 7 YEARS AGO!!! So, is a Home Warranty plan a safe bet??? I have a 9 word answer for those without a Choice Home Warranty service plan. YOU BET YOUR DRIPPING SWEATY BUTT CRACK IT IS!!! Props to Zach, YOU DA MAN!!!
