It was a large job as the roof is approximately five thousand square feet and has a number of different slopes and pitches plus skylights that were either covered or replaced. The crew of fourteen along with the owner arrived at 7:30am. When the old roof was removed it was discovered that a much larger amount of the plywood than expected was wet and needed to be replaced. They managed to do this seamlessly and stayed to finish the job that day. I was very impressed with how the crew worked together. The next morning they replaced all the gutters. He reviewed the roof and proposed project, which was to replace the asphalt shingles. I was originally thinking about a metal roof and he provided me some good perspective on this choice. He left me with a detailed proposal which covered everything. Two days later we signed a contract for this job. Although it has been a really rainy season they completed this job within the estimated timeframe. The crew and dumpster arrived on the arranged day. My house is kind of small but I was surprised when they finished in little over six hours, including cleanup. The clean up was done as they proceeded and they left my yard in better shape than when they arrived. The roof looks great and just in time for our first snow.
