But I can tell you sites I see online are created with templates that "designers" charge a fortune for!
Sam will tell you upfront what you need to budget to get what you want. She'll also tell you what she can and can't do for a given price. Other contractors and businesses (auto repair anyone?) will quote one price, or just say "it won't be much" and then hand you a bill for three times what you expected. Not Sam. She'd rather lose the opportunity to make your site than overcharge for what you expect.
This young lady has a lot of fussy people to please, so I tried to give her more guidelines and structure for this second site she built for me. I think it helped with communication a lot because she actually had (scanned, child-like, hand-drawn) flow charts and ideas of how I wanted the pages laid out. I'm now amazed that she could build my first site so well since I didn't even know what I wanted when I started!!!
I sometimes feel I don't deserve such GREAT service since my site is a "nobody" right now.... but Sam has been encouraging and gone above and beyond to accomplish what even my own family thinks my business can do. She truly undercharges (I'm gonna regret I said that!) She is up 24 hours at a time, fielding calls and trying to appease customers who either don't know what they want, or want to take out their daily frustrations to a kind voice on the phone
**I wish website customers took the time to learn enough about what they don't know, what is reasonable to expect, and what bad service really is, before they go online and rant about businesses on Yelp, FaceBook, Angie's List, etc.

"When scheduling the person I spoke with asked a few questions to determine what I needed and talked to me about what to expect. It sounded like they were very flexible if I wanted certain products to be used and for how I wanted to prioritize cleaning in my house. I tidied up our belongings beforehand. On the day of the cleaning two cleaners came - they were personable and polite. Both started working right away and I was very satisfied with my sparkling clean home when they were finished!
