"They did a great job, however I agree that his responsiveness is lacking and he is very difficult to get ahold of. I know a few people who had negative experiences but for the price and his quality, I think he is worth it. Moreover, he painted my whole living room by himself in just 4 hours with 2 coats of paint and it came out great. You should know, when they mention 8' of wall, they count it from the ground up and not from the molding up. I was charged an extra $120 for an additional 4" of wall space which was not painted since it was covered by the molding. No big deal, but just be aware."

If you see a carpet you like but find that it's to expensive, do not become discouraged the agent will ask you what is a good price for you. He/she will give you options, they want your business. Do be up front with empire."

His high energy, flooring knowledge and a communication was a welcome breath of fresh air. We decided on an English walnut stain and a Bona polyurethane in a Semi Gloss finish. The workers showed up on time, treated my house with respect, left it cleaner than they found it and when it was all finished Greg came by, walked thru the entire project and wanted to make sure I was completed satisfied before he took final payment. They answered my email immediately & scheduled within a day or so. They ripped up my carpet & the wood floors underneath were in good shape despite being two different colors. Eric & David spent the necessary time going over stain colors with me by even putting samples down on my floor which I thought was great! "When they came to give us an estimate they said t would cost $600 which we thought was ridiculous, so we were able to get them down to $200 plus tax. They said for that price we could get a surface shampooing. They took the rug, brought it back a week later and it doesnt look that much cleaner. From other reviews I read I thought I would be wow'd. Maybe if we paid more they would have done a better job?
