"I had gotten quotes from different flooring companies and the other 2 companies both said a subfloor needed to be placed prior to installing the expensive top of the line LVP. Hillers was adamant that I did not need a subfloor due to the high quality flooring I was purchasing from them. First problem was they left a 1/3" gap between two pieces and left it. Looks horrible for a $5,000 job. 2nd the floor was floating in certain areas due to not having a subfloor laid first. the last straw was the flooring is separating in areas, and they claim it is due to the house settling (UM this is normal so why wouldn't we do something PRIOR to laying the floor to avoid this issue!) and suggestion to fix it is to rip everything up, lay down a subfloor and then put in a new floor. All at cost to me. They take no fault even though I have it in email that they said NOT to lay a subfloor but now a subfloor is the answer. I have to take them to court. NEVER WILL USE THEM AGAIN!"

"Great before the sale, but sure hope you don't have issues after. We commissioned Josh to create custom cabinetry for our kitchen at our high end short term rental back in November of 2021. We paid almost a 3.5x the cost over installing Menards cabinets because we believed we were getting a high quality, durable product that would accentuate the experience of our guests - sometimes you just don't get what you pay for. Sales process, install and initial view of the product (June 2022) was great besides the delay on the install (it was covid after all, so understandable). Within 6 months we were mortified to find out how quickly the lower painted cabinets were deteriorating and reached out to Josh in January of 2023. During those 6-7 months, people only stayed at the cabin for 72 nights. So the first set of pictures were after about 2.5 months of living. Josh was quick to say this was a "rental property" and that renters are harder on properties....I have 5 kids under 10 and my home painted cabinets are over 7 years old and don't show a fraction of this damage. Josh agreed to repair a three of doors and the shoe trim - he was quick to get this done and completed the repair in February of 2024 - almost 13 months after I had reached out. In the meantime I was going through my tiny touch up bottle of paint like you wouldn't believe. He did provide me 2 additional bottles after my first bottle ran dry. (arn't those small touch up bottle supposed to last the lifetime of the cabinets?) In the 12 months since he did the last repair I used up the remaining 2 bottles of touch up paint and reached out again to Josh as the cabinets/trim shoe continued to chip at an alarming rate. It's been radio silent on my end in getting a response so I felt compelled to share my story. I do need to mention that the upper laminate cabinets turned out quite nice and have been very durable, even the floor to ceiling pantry that gets significant foot traffic has held up well - which makes this even more frustrating as I know they are capable of quality work. "Did a job not certified for, contaminated our whole house with asbestos, health dpt, locked us out till abetment was done, now a year later abetment co says we owe $90k because they can't locate Marshall. Already cost us over $20k in losses. This man is scumm!! Health dept closed 13 citations, each up to $10k in fines, because they couldn't locate him.??? They stole food from the deep freezer leaving it open ruining top 2 shelves of food and drank our beer, they used our hot tub!! They snooped in every room in the house. Over a year later and not close to be back to normal. Enrique, Jordan and Cesar all did this!!"
